Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Maybe this will spur Detroit on to trade for a few of our relievers ...
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 As much as the Tigers' bullpen deserves blame, it's also important to point out other mistakes made by them. Their offense/base running blew a 1st and 3rd with no outs opportunity in the 6th with 2 runs already in. Jackson getting picked off in the 7th was huge. Iglesias's error was also huge. This was only in this game. I also thought Leyland mishandled the bullpen in the 8th inning of game 2. It also doesn't help that they have 3 DHs when there's only one DH spot so 2 of them play on the corner infield positions. Anyway, it will be interesting to see what kinds of tweaks they make.
Howard Roark Verified Member Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I seriously doubt I'll even bother to watch the WS at all this year. Perfect end to Troll Season 2013. Jays eliminate themselves in April. Finish last in the division. And the WS is between 2 of the 3 teams I hate the most. Go f*** yourself, god.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
