Braves: The Braves have taken the season series vs. all the other NL Postseason teams, going 5-2 against the Dodgers this year and 4-3 each against the Cardinals, Reds and Pirates. Like Colby Rasmus last year, Jason Heyward has found a spot in the lineup that he preforms his best in. Hitting in the leadoff spot, Heyward has compiled a .322 average with six home runs and 16 RBIs in 118 at-bats. He hit .223 with eight home runs and 22 RBIs in 264 at-bats anywhere else in the lineup. When Heyward hits at the top, the Braves are 23-7 Freeman's 108 RBIs marks the first time a Braves batter reaching 100+ RBI since Chipper Jones and Jeff Francoeur did it in 2007 The Braves are a MLB-best 56-25 at home, including going 25-10 in their final 35 home games of the year Dodgers: The Dodgers are victims to the injury bug. With Kemp out for the remainder of the season, Eithier still unable to round the bases, Hanley Ramirez unable to start back-to-back games for 3 weeks because of back soreness and Yasiel Puig who was limited to pinch hitting roles after fouling a ball off his leg on Friday, it's safe to say it's already an uphill battle for the Dodgers for the rest of the Postseason. G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Let's go Rays, A's, Pirates and Braves Agree on 3/4. Dodgers please. Hate Atlanta. Also better chance of LAD beating Boston if they get to the WS.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I can't believe they stagger all 4 games like this. Impressive.

guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 f*** the braves, don't really care about the tigers/A's series. as long as boston and the cardinals don't win i'm happy
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Jarrod Parker is so good. With him on the mound, one run could be enough.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Jarrod Parker is a bully.....Maybe 2 runs is enough to beat the Tigers at home.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 RBI double for VMart and it's the first Tigers run in *20* innings
bzapple Verified Member Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Wow, look at that power from Moss. Looked like he just casually swatted that ball out.
bzapple Verified Member Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Lol @ Matt Vascersian's voice on that home run. That made me cringe.

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Looks like Kershaw will start tonight, on short rest. Teams need to do this more often. There's no evidence that pitchers need more than three days rest and in the postseason the payoff can be massive.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
