Jays Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Anthony Gose and his power in the 5-hole! We should let Dwayne Murphy coach him and unlock that hidden power potential.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 This could be a long day for Happ
oakville69 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Is Happ the 5th starter next year? Jays have a surplus of 5th starters.
DH12 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Catch the ball Lawrie you tool
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Go Rays. Happless should get us a loss
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Catch the ball Lawrie you tool Yep. Goins had to walk across the mond to get from that. Happ's or Lawrie's ball.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Lawrie redeems himslef with a tough catch oin foul territory.
Jays Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 The bottom 4 in our line up look pretty bad.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 (edited) The bottom 4 in our line up look pretty bad. They are bad The guys batting 2-5 today should be the bottom of the order EE, Bautista, Rasmus all missing is the problem Edited September 28, 2013 by G-Snarls
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Archer getting way too much of the plate
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Yet Sierra swings at the ONE ball in the dirt for a strikeout Ug
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Gose isn't ready. His new swing mechanics look better but hes gotta go down and apply it consistently and more increased focus of getting on base. Yep. I can almost accept the .250 ish BA, but still too way too many K's and nowehere near enough walks. OBP < .300
Jays Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Langerhans showing the BlueJays fundamentals by getting hit on the hand during a bunt.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Rays just want to play a tie breaker .
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Adam Lind a hated person by the Tampa sides.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Happless pitching like he doesn't want to be the highest paid pitcher in AAA next year
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Hes had a few good outings down the strech. I'm hoping its enough to get him traded. It just might be. Besides Romero will be the highest paid pitching in AAA. If Romero is in AAA he won't be with the Jays . He won't accept it and will become a free agent
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Buck , building up Thole , Don't bother Buck , We will have two new Catchers here next year
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Well if he wants to get paid he will accept it. Hes still under contract. I don't believe that is right . I think he can become a free agent
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Holy s*** if we hold on win this... Tanknation or not, I'm so tired of losing to Tampa I'm loving this.
DH12 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 The loss of Rasmus and Buatista isn't hurting them today one bit. In fact it may be helping. One of them will be traded this offseason likely Rasmus They are bad The guys batting 2-5 today should be the bottom of the order EE, Bautista, Rasmus all missing is the problem
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I don't believe that is right . I think he can become a free agent 1. Article XX (. A player with at least 6 years of Major League service time and no contract for the next season is eligible for free agency and may negotiate with any club. CBA, Article XX (. 2. A player with three years of Major League service who is assigned outright to the minor leagues may 1) refuse the assignment and elect immediate free agency or 2) accept the assignment and elect free agency between the end of the Major League season and Oct. 15, unless the player is returned to the Major League roster before electing free agency. A player who qualified for arbitration as a Super Two in the previous off-season and is subsequently sent outright to the minor leagues may refuse the assignment and elect immediate free agency but may not accept the assignment and elect free agency at the end of the season. 3. kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Holy s*** if we hold on win this... Tanknation or not, I'm so tired of losing to Tampa I'm loving this. matters not what we want our AAA lineup is killing TB
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Confusing but I think Ricky can refuse a minor league assignment and become a FA any time, but why would he? No other team is going to pay him anywhere near the 7.5 M x 2 years the Jays are on re hook for.
