G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 I suppose the Jeter news deserved its own thread but heard news of both simultaneously
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 I suppose the Jeter news deserved its own thread but heard news of both simultaneously I'm not sure either really did. Maybe EE, but Jeter could have easily gone in around baseball. Not that it really matters.
flafson Verified Member Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 As long as it's not serious, it doesn't really matter, just gives more playing time to Buffalo guys to show what they got.

Probably nothing, if what we've seen so far is any indication. Would be nice to have gomez though now, jeez AA

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 What a nightmare. Well my fantasy season just went down the drain in the FC league with EE done for the season.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Jeter doesn't belong in the same conversation as Edwin. He was a great player. He isn't anymore. The Yankees have survived without him. I really don't know how they're going to survive next year. I am assuming they will try to sign McCann, Choo, and Ervin Santana. After they resign Cano. A-Rod suspension will take place sooner or later. It'll be interesting to see what the Yankees do, whether they stick to their previous stance and get under 189M or not. If they do, they may not be big players in the free agent sweeps.

Jeter is completely trashed, Wells and Overbay have regressed, and Yooukilis hasn't played since when???
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Edwin wants to play. Clearly he doesn't understand draft pick compensation and protected picks etc... http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130912&content_id=60399930¬ebook_id=60398758&vkey=notebook_tor&c_id=tor
