Yahoo's new layout is a f***ing eyesore. Everything that fail company does turns to s*** and I'm embarrassed for them.

 

I hate the new layout. It's so annoying and gives me headaches when looking at players pages. The original format was simple but far better than this new one. Ugh!

I think it would take up too much time to have everyone try to vote. I looked back at all the suggestions and came up with these. I think we should use them unless there are a few people against it and they have a good reason on why it should be different.

 

Roster: C, C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, W, W - D, D, D, D, D, D - G, G - BN, BN, BN, BN, BN - 22 Roster Players, 18 Keepers

 

Stats: Goalies: W, SV%, GAA, S --- Skaters: G, A, +/-, SOG, HIT, BLK, FOW, PPP

 

Farm: 7 spots - Prospect Draft taking place before the season and before the Roster Draft. Only able to draft players that have not yet appeared in the NHL.

**We'd have to decide if we want to have them eligible for call-up when A) They are set to play their first NHL game, or When they appear in the yahoo database. I'm leaning towards as soon as they are in the Yahoo database.

 

We'll do the drafts similar to what was done in the DDL. With the Prospect Draft being the reverse order of the Roster Draft. Both are snake drafts.

I like this new layout for football, although it takes some getting used to. The new player pages for baseball are completely asinine, however. You pull up a player and the only immediately visible stats are AVG, HR, RBI and R. FFS, that doesn't even accommodate the most basic 5x5 league.

Given that our NHL roster draft is currently scheduled for the 30th of September, I'm assuming that we're going to have to start the prospect draft once all 20 managers are locked in? The season starts on October 1st, so we have roughly only two weeks and change to get everything complete by then.

I'm thinking we should start the prospect draft by Friday or something. We have roughly two weeks to get both the prospect draft + NHL roster draft done. We need all 20 managers locked in within the next couple of days.

Friday's okay, but people better be active in checking on the prospect draft, or it will carry well into the season to piss a lot of people off. Come wednesday morn, if we still dont have 20 though, I say we open it up to friends and stuff. 16 will really blow.

 

People also have to confirm that Monday night is okay for them.

We need everyone in ASAP. As long as we get through the first two rounds of the prospect draft before season starts we should be okay. I don't think anyone past that will start in the NHL.

 

Maybe we should go with 8 hr time limits to make your pick, just to speed it up.
