connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 This is clearly an anti-steroids guy.. Maybe I have terrible morals but I couldn't imagine not juicing up before the combine at least..if it would greatly benefit me I mean..
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Like I said earlier, watched some video of him over the last few days and was not impressed at all. Uncoordinated and no explosion. Maybe he has off-the-charts football IQ. I dunno, didn't follow his career closely at all. Pretty much. He was a max effort type of guy who played above his talent level.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Rams drafted him.... That seems like a good fit for him. Underperforming team, young.. Non-major metro..
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Good for Sam. Would have probably been better for his career to go undrafted at that point though so he could pick a team of his choosing.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Terrible fit for Sam... the Rams already have a lot of pass rushers, he probably won't make the team.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Terrible fit for Sam... the Rams already have a lot of pass rushers, he probably won't make the team. Being drafted at the end of round 7 pretty much sucks for anyone.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 It'd be better to hold on to him than go for draft considerations imo. But eh, I know jack s***. NFL draft picks (even 4th rounders) have pretty high value. many 4th rounders start. this was one chart that I thought was great about value of the draft pick. It also has the traditional chart that GM's in the NFL actually use. http://harvardsportsanalysis.wordpress.com/2011/11/30/how-to-value-nfl-draft-picks/

dineke Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 NFL is back! EJ Manuel is still s***!
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 EJ Manuel might be the worst player in NFL history.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Anyone else pumped for some football? Great matchup tonight, hopefully can cleanse the palate after the SB was an basically an unwatchable curbstomp from the 1st play on. Tonight is Christmas Eve, Sunday is Christmas. This upcoming Sunday is literally the best day of the year for me and many other die hard NFL fans.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Jets<3 Sanchez finally gone
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 New Orleans. I am absolutely thrilled to see analysts throw our name into the mix for NFC champions.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Anyone know a good place to buy NFL jerseys?
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 That's a great analogy haha. Every game is so important, worth like 5 NHL or 10 MLB, I have a lot more patience/understanding with fans that freak the f*** out over every one. PS, what's everyone's allegiance so I can mock them? This is the year goddammit, http://www.thewaiverwire.co/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Cincinnati-Bengals-Logo-300x166.gif I don't think they can go anywhere when their QB has no soul.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Lacey already bringing that run game
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 That was a terrible series by the packers other then Lacey
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 Entertaining game so far, lets go hawks!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 This is getting Fugly.... for one side
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Packers got wrecked, not surprising. I think a healthy 49ers team is the only one in the NFC that's on the same tier as Seattle.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Teddy Bridgewater will lead the Vikes to the NFC North crown anyway. Packers are irrelevant.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 So apparently Cleveland spent 500k on a study that studied college quarterbacks throughout the past 20 years and how their collegiate careers affected their pro careers. According to the data, Teddy Bridgewater projected to have the most successful career out of any eligible QB prospect. Of course being them, they draft a nutcase instead and throw everything they invested in out the window Bump, just because I still find this hilarious. Though fun fact, their director of scouting resigned about a month later

dineke Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Who's your team, mate? Just wondering/forgetting? Raised in BC, so seahawks. Also cheer for the Raiders and dolphins.
