He still could, the guy's a beast TE with WR hands, he could play for 4/5 more years easy taking one year deals. One of my favourite players to watch his blocking/footwork and speed are 2nd to none at the position, he's also Brady's favourite target, should be fun. But I could see him signing in Buffalo.

I don't know about that. Gronk was "retired" and he's only 31. Injuries have taken a toll on him.

All the players opting out, by team. The Steelers and Falcons were the only teams to not have any opt outs, while, shockingly, the Patriots lead with EIGHT. Browns are second, though, which I was convinced would be #1. Hightower and Chung are pretty big losses particularly. Bills are taking the AFC East especially since White decided not to opt out even though his GF's grandpa died of the covid. What a champ, I guess he knows a Superbowl contending roster when he sees one.

No opinion on Jason Wright himself. I hope he is competent and I feel kinda bad that many will look at him as Dan Snyder's "get out of jail free" card, but I hope he proves to be a good hire.

I've given up, tbh. Sports are being bullied into this ********. Players have the right to "fight systemic racism and white supremacy" and fans have the right to tell the players to f*** off because it isn't a racist country. I don't think anyone has an issue with outspoken players: guys like Charles Barkley, Torii Hunter, LeBron James have always been outspoken and aside from hilarious moments of ignorance, no one is opposed to it. The issue is when this crap starts leaking into the field of play. Like what does "End Racism" in the endzone accomplish? What's the implication? That huge swaths of white people are racist? I also don't need Cris Collinsworth educating me on how far we have left to go for "social justice" whatever that is.

 

I don't want to make any political posts but it's kinda in your face. The Dolphins have said they are staying in the locker room for the anthem. Maybe they should stay there all game so people aren't subjected to the embarrassment of watching them play.

 

Bottom line, fans are allowed to have opinions too.
