The league is getting really protective of QBs. He was basically picked up off the ground by the face mask, his head was twisted around, the helmet was ripped off, then he was hit really damn hard with it in the head/face. All of it was clearly intentional. I mean, Burfict got 12 games for a helmet to helmet hit that happened, and that at least happened in a split second during a play. There's only 7 games left in this season, I think.

I'm aware of what happened, I still don't think he will get suspended for any games next year. He definitely won't get suspended for the whole year next season, that's laughable.

— #Browns DE Myles Garrett suspended without pay indefinitely, at least the rest of the season.

— #Steelers OL Maurkice Pouncey suspended 3 games and fined

— #Browns DL Larry Ogunjobi suspended one game and fined.

— Other players involved may be fined.

I think the smart bet would be he’ll just get suspended for the rest of the year... but I could see them suspending him for a full season (half this year, half next)

What suspension did Milbury get when he went into the stands and beat a man with his own shoe? Do we have other examples in sports where players used weapons to fight?

 

I always find it comical when there are 'rules' to how you're allowed to fight (when fighting isn't within the rule books). Does Pouncey just get 1 game if he only throws punches? Was it the kicks that got him the extra 2 games?
