Help me understand this. Pats waived Bailey Zappe, their 4th round QB draft pick last year, who was 2-0 with a passer rating over 100 in 2 starts last year. He goes unclaimed and has signed back with the Pats practice squad, while the Pats only have 1 QB on the roster and are expected to sign some s***** vet to be their backup this year.

 

This doesn't make a lot of sense to me...anyone understand this?

Best NFL Picks for this week?

 

I take the Chiefs, Bills, Ravens and Cowboys as locks.

 

Upsets I like the Browns, Dolphins, and Rams.

It’s not hard to understand why you don’t get it

 

Because most teams have some sense when Cavan Biggio has a good week or two and they know he’s not a starter in the league. Teams are right on these things like 95% of the time, but the 5% always make a good story

But he doesn't have to be a starter in the league. He was their 4th round draft pick last year who played well when given an opportunity....and they don't have a backup QB. Why release the guy? There must be more to the story - but your analogy is stupid.

I don't want it to happen, but yeah, the Chiefs leading pass rusher is also out. I seen an outright win for sure, we'll see.

Good game to kick off the season. Chiefs had a far too many dropped balls.

 

Was tempted to put a couple of bucks on the Lions haha. Didn't want to touch this game at all though.

 

Got a $20 parlay yesterday with the Braves run line and Coco Gauff winning her match, so I'm happy.

Vikings suck and are overrated. I actually think the Bucs can be decent this year with Baker as QB.

 

Correct on my upsets this week - Browns, Dolphins and Rams. Heck I even liked the Raiders against the Broncos. Don't understand how the Seahawks and Broncos were heavy favourites. They suck!

 

49ers were the pick of the week IMO. They were 1.80 Money Line against the Steelers. Wish I put $100 down on them damn.

Beautiful start to the season - won me a free round of golf at an expensive course - curtesy of my buddy who's a huge Bears fan. Hope Jones isn't out long and Watson can return soon - they need those 2 explosive playmakers. Love looked solid IMO. Liked what I saw from Musgrove, Reed and Doubs also. Nice to see Von Ness pick up a sack in his first game. I'm curious to see how quickly he comes along.

Haha... nice. I didn't catch much of the game as I was at the Jays game, then went for dinner after, I thought Doubs was out of the game till I saw him haul in a touchdown. Reed looked really food from what I saw, did he come back after that injury? I'll get a better idea after I watch the replay when I have time this week, love what you're selling me bro. ;)

Josh Allen is so erratic and volatile. He needs to stop making boneheaded plays. Even some running plays he does, he risks getting hit hard and risk fumbles.

 

I like the Bills, but they're not an upper echelon team. Still behind the Chiefs, Eagles, 49ers and Bengals. They need to start cleaning up their game.

Buffalo could still lose this game. If they can't beat the Jets without Rodgers, just wow! Huge disappointment!

Bills D is sublime, Allen is having an off night, also doesn't mean the O-Line sucks or not, I'm not sure to be honest, thought Rodgers would avoid that s*** like a plaque.

Lmao he's making boneheaded plays. 3 interceptions man. Just awful.

 

Jets just tied it.

 

This team played sloppy even in games last season. Allen needs to be more disciplined.
