I just saw the Texans lost the #1 overall pick by winning at the end on a bomb lol. Must suck as a fan.

It really does. I get the whole argument about always playing to win, but the #1 pick in the NFL is worth a f***ton - especially with Young, Stroud and Levis all expected to go Top 10. The Bears are in an incredible position. They have their QB - now they can field offers, trade down, land a haul of draft picks and fill multiple holes as teams like the Colts, Raiders, Falcons, Lions, Seahawks (maybe), Panthers, Titans, Jets, Commanders, etc. all fight to move up to grab the top arms. I could see a scenario where the Bears even trade down TWICE. Going from 1st to say 5th (Colts) so they can take Young and then down to 8th (Falcons) or 9th (Panthers) or 11th (Titans) as those teams need to move up to grab the last of either Stroud or Levis.

I guess all of that could have happened if they stayed in the 2nd spot too, but it seems likely now that the Texans are going to miss out on Bryce Young and will have to take the 2nd best QB at #2. Ouch.

Sucks Buffalo won't get home field throughout the Playoffs, but there isn't much you can do with the Bengals/Bills game. Was still the right call to suspend it at the time.

Could they script that any better??? Game kick off return... Wow!

2 Kickoff Returns...

Josh Allen is a God!!!

Go Jets, Go Steelers!

Booooo... f*** the Dolphins, their terrible!

Crushed next week.

Yeah Bills should crush the Dolphins at home next weekend.

With Damar leading them out the tunnel. Goosebumps. Hope this is a direct recreation of the 2021 Patriots. Lose a close first game in bad weather, win the second and then expose them as the frauds they are in the playoffs in embarrassing fashion.

They will always have week 3.

The only thing they need to worry about is the Bears trading the pick because they aren't going to take a QB. As long as the Bears keep it, doesn't really matter which one picks first and which picks second.

Which I guess echoes what z3r0s said, though I'm a bit less worried about the Bears trading down. It doesn't happen often. Being said, a)anyway, f*** the Texans and B) which one is the guy who puts mayo in his coffee?

I hear ya but a lot of teams need QBs. There will definitely be a lot of phone calls. Chicago would at least get a later 1st and 2 future firsts I think. RGIII kind of the benchmark and it was only moving down a few spots and they got a 2nd too.

The first mock I looked at had Indy moving down a few spots. That would make a ton of sense if you can squeeze even like two firsts.

Depends what teams think about Bryce Young

I think there's like an 85% chance the Bears trade down. I think the Bears could trade down twice even! Trade down to 4th with the Colts and then down to like 8th or 9th as teams overpay to move up to grab the last of the top 3 QB's. Bears have a f***ton of holes, so they need to stockpile picks and are now in a perfect position. They can use the #1 pick to fill a ton of them and build around Fields.

The Texans are going to miss out on Bryce Young if they don't trade up to #1. Sucks taking the 2nd best QB at #2.

Bears have balls in the air, man. Their going to get a haul, FFS's.

Also, Dahmar will be in the hospital, mate. He has a long recovery.

Damar has already been released man! He's recovering at home. It's f***ing insane. I do think there's a legit chance he's at the game in some capacity and the response will be legendary. This weekend might be too early, but at some point in these playoffs.

I'd be very surprised if he returned these playoffs. Unless doctors have 100% confirmed that it was commotio cordis or whatever and a purely freak thing. Even then the damage done during CPR will probably take a while to recover.

Yes I am - sorry if that wasn't clear. I think he'll simply be at one of the games - hopefully well enough to lead the team out of the tunnel in street clothes.

Yeah my bad I misread it badly lol

Someone was suggesting the Bears should draft Young and trade Fields for a 1st and 3rd round pick. I think it's going to be fascinating to see what they end up doing. Can't f*** this up.

I will just make it public. Let me know if you join. Draft in 80 minutes.

Very last minute but I have set up a playoff fantasy football draft (8:45 tonight) on Fantrax. Just $10 to join with at least top two will pay out.

Standard half point per reception fantasy scoring.

Twist is there will be no bench and no dropping or adding players. Your 8 team you draft is what you get. Total points through the end of the superbowl.

I will work out the payments later. Confirm if you are in this chat please
