Can I be upset they didn't call obvious penalties earlier in the game and then decided to switch it up late in the game to help Tommy Boy? If was so obvious that one ref threw a flag about 15 seconds after the play was over after remembering that Goddell told him everyone wants to see Tom Brady in the finals.

Well, the GM and McVay didn't really hide it. "Is Jared Goff your starting QB?" McVay: "He is right now"

 

I feel bad for whoever has to keep track of the Rams' picks. I wouldn't put it past them to try to pull a Spanky and trade a first round pick they already traded.

 

Also annoying are the people who don't understand contracts and salary caps thinking that Stafford's price indicates that Deshaun Watson will cost like 7 first rounders, completely ignoring that Detroit had to take on Goff's massive contract. I did enjoy that Stafford used his no trade clause to block a single team in the Patriots lol. They will be sniffing the Bills' farts for a long time.

Watson will be a story to follow, has all the making of epic drama at this point with Watson scrubbing Texans from his social media after the trade request and attempted olive branch for the team.

 

A Watson trade really doesn’t have precedent. I think it’ll take a young QB from someone like MIA or NYJ plus 3 1sts. I know the pro insiders are saying less but we’ll see...I guess if Watson presses they may have to settle for slightly less

Watson won't play for the Texans ever again. If they don't trade him, he'll simply refuse to play. That saps some of their leverage.

 

Interested to see where he ends up. I want him to land in a good spot, but not with the Dolphins.
