Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Poor Pillar was probably worried super Gose was going to crash into him again
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I hate to be a grammar whore but you need to include a space before your parentheses. You've not done this in consecutive posts. Ironically, you forgot a comma in your first sentence. Also, you do realize you're talking to raysjays, right?
oakville69 Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Talk about f***ing millimeters.. There ae always something weird happening to the Jays at the Trop. The place is haunted. I am always nervous with Santos on the mound.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I am always nervous with Santos on the mound. That's a bit of a weak statement considering Santos has barely pitched for us (always injured)
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Ironically, you forgot a comma in your first sentence. Also, you do realize you're talking to raysjays, right? Dick! No, didn't know it was raysjays... but that explains a lot.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Does it bother anyone else when Buck calls JPA a "home run power hitter" when he's only hit 6 home runs since the start of June? Nah, 61 HR in 1200 career AB... good enough to be called that, I guess.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Another s*** game w/ the Rays, but I'll take it if it means they beat out Boston for the division.
digiblader Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Agreed. Now let's hope for a Yanks win tonight. Now off to NY we go..
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 No more Brad Lincoln please. Send him back down to Triple-A. I've seen enough.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 f***ing jays keep finding ways to lose games. lordy they suck.... top 5 pick in sight.
digiblader Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 4th-5th at best. Top 3 picks are pretty much booked for the Astros, Marlins and White Sox. And with the NL being so awful outside of the top teams (Braves, Cardinals, Pirates, Reds, Dodgers, D-Backs), a top pick is not assured. We could easily end up as high as 16th in the draft as it stands.
oakville69 Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 That's a bit of a weak statement considering Santos has barely pitched for us (always injured) I know he's always injured. The first time I saw him in pitch in the home opener against the red sox in 2012, he blew the lead. He gave up runs when I saw him pitch last week against the red sox. He can throw 95 mph but his pitches always find a bat. I would never trust him to be a closer. Santos was a "fools gold " trade. He is on a cheap contract , but he isn't worth the 5 innings pitched in 2012 & 10 innings pitched so far in 2013

Clojojo Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I hate this team We need a huge clubhouse change in the offseason It is such an unlikeable bunch
GNick Verified Member Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I'm glad we don't have to play Tampa again. Those are the most boring games. Now I know why they have attendance problems. How can you get excited watching foul ball after foul ball trying to run up the pitch count.
digiblader Verified Member Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Actually, it's more due to stadium location and the fact the stadium is horrid--they have special rules for that stadium due to the catwalks. Boston does this as well--and people flood to those games.
