AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 They might end up trading Davis. But moving Boni should open up a spot. Not expecting Melky back. I know Melky sucks but I'm still expecting Alex to move him somewhere. Davis is worth much more than Boni. How often does Davis screw up on the bases? He is a game changer. If we were contenders playing impt games, he would prove invaluable.

He pretty much has no place on a major league baseball team right now... except maybe as a pinch hitter?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 Hey now. I'll take 2011 Bautista over 2010 Bautista any day!! 2011 Bautista seems to be a fluke Based on 2010, partially 2012 and now 2013 it's more realistic to wish for 50 homers/.260 But I'm with you! 2011 Bautista >>>>>>>>> most hitter seasons in Jays history
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 lol I find myself cheering for stats these days too. Nothing else to do while watching the games. It's the only entertaining thing to do left, since the team is so s***, I want to see some nice career milestones!

AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Lind is back. I doubt we can move him. Why can't he get super hot in July?

But yeah... was not the normal Bautista, but then you could of said the same about him in '10... I guess he has the ability to re-invent himself.

You bet, and I love how exciting the game gets and how he really affects things, even though we are out of it. A contending team would love this legitimate weapon

I just want Bautista to retain the title of homer crusher, I want EE to do the same, so that the league can see that we still have 2 positives on this team lol
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 31 stolen bags? Holy f*** why is he not starting over Boni? No-f***ing-clue... and should be starting over Melky as well (when he's not on DL).
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 even gibbons at this point must be thinking "how the #$^% do I still have a job here?"

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 Yep Davis has been a welcome member of my DDL team over the past month. I believe they start him against lefties which is okay. With Melky, I understand, but Boni? He should start No-f***ing-clue... and should be starting over Melky as well (when he's not on DL). True, Melk is a defensive liability
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 this is not going to end well...
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 We need to abduct the rally monkey
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 I shoulda started Calhoun
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 why was delabar at the all star game?
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Couldn't Wagner have gone another, really.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 our pen is gassed. starters not getting to the 4th inning is killing what is a good pen.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 Fatcow's MPL pickups from yesterday have now hit the two most recent homers of the night. Venable and now Calhoun. Yessir. Ethier and Yunel should have preformed better, I guess not lol
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Oh well, we definitely don't deserve to win this game anyway.... so much stupid baseball.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 why was delabar at the all star game? Ban
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 why was delabar at the all star game? Delebar has been great. The Anglels' no names are hitting but DelebAr is entitled to an off game. Let us see what at bats our guys put up in ninth. I doubt they will be like the Sox last nite. Face it, the Jays suck but that is getting to be half the fun, predicting how they will screw up. We didnt throw backwards but there will be another f up
