I dunno, Bautista is maybe at his best when he's pulling most balls. I feel like the pitchers have been pitching him outside pretty much exclusively and he's been forced to go the other way a lot.

Chad is not the problem, true. I am sure he preaches situational hitting, too. What is the deal, though, with Walker? He seems nice but God, have we seen any pitcher progress? How does Tampa produce these unknowns like Cobb, Archer, et al? They aren't all the result of tank=top draft picks

I have to think Pete will be gone at the end of the year, but it's impossible for us when we have no knowledge of exactly what is said and done when the cameras aren't rolling. Maybe with the pen's success Hentgen will take over.

Rays don't draft top pitching prospects. They develop them. Whoever is developing these guys needs a promotion. Blue Jays need to get them. Outside of Price who went first overal. These guys aren't top draft picks.

He actually got out a a few jams. Not a great disappointment. Bottom did some damage.
