Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Be fair, .5 tool. His socks match. I'd laugh like hell if he pulled his pants up now and they didn't... Reyes!
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 AA is somewhere saying my master plan is all coming together now

AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 I'd laugh like hell if he pulled his pants up now and they didn't... Reyes! Ha, now I am thinking that you might be right. Thanks
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 There you go Bautista Gotta give CM a lot of credit, he's got these guys using the whole field far more than we've seen in years. Now we need a pitching version of him so the staff stops throwing everything on the outside corner.

I feel like the pitchers have been pitching him outside pretty much exclusively and he's been forced to go the other way a lot.
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 This game has everything: a young lady hit in forehead after guy moved for safety, misplays. Good chance there will be a triple play. I am wearing black with the sad news that Melky is on the DL. It will be a tragic loss. Who will replace his empty average and marvelous 3HR? Please bring up Pillar or Gose, just for spice.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 LOL .. hahahaah........ Tabler thought he was off the air and he started saying "Geez... Brutal"........... hahahaha

What is the deal, though, with Walker? He seems nice but God, have we seen any pitcher progress? How does Tampa produce these unknowns like Cobb, Archer, et al? They aren't all the result of tank=top draft picks
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Pretty sure that was tablet.. but great none the less Yeah corrected myself after... would love to hear what these guys are actually thinking/saying behind scenes

They aren't all the result of tank=top draft picks I have to think Pete will be gone at the end of the year, but it's impossible for us when we have no knowledge of exactly what is said and done when the cameras aren't rolling. Maybe with the pen's success Hentgen will take over.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Wow Ramus avg now over .280... congrats
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Can Rasmus top his 2010 season this year?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 5-4 bitches!! How's the GDT going fellas?
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Rays don't draft top pitching prospects. They develop them. Whoever is developing these guys needs a promotion. Blue Jays need to get them. Outside of Price who went first overal. These guys aren't top draft picks. Yes, I have often said that we Need to poach some Tampa staff, screw position players.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 I started watching about an hour ago. Total gong show on both sides. I missed the beginning, what happened?
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 He's already tied it in WAR! If you take out defense it's extremely close: 130 wRC+ in 2010, 128 this year. Ah!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 Six or seven guys have gotten erased on the basepaths, and Boni couldn't make an 125 foot throw home when the runner wasn't even at third yet. Omg what the hell lol
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Brett Lawrie since AS break (not incl. today) .255 .345 .489 .835 Also getting robbed a lot. Has looked super good at the plate.
theblujay Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 So I see Redmon didn't last long. But he's still better than JJ.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Omg what the hell lol I only counted 4... - Lawrie caught trying to advance to 2nd - Reyes out trying to steal - Boni out trying to steal - EE out trying to steal
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 So I see Redmon didn't last long. But he's still better than JJ. He actually got out a a few jams. Not a great disappointment. Bottom did some damage.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Every pitcher in baseball is about a run of ERA better than JJ. That's the lowest bar ever set. I still say Redmond > Happ but nobody wants to believe it.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 Also Tommy Hanson and Todd Redmond were the starting pitchers. Both got lit up even though it seemed like the baserunners were mandated to wear blindfolds. Base runners were s***?

Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
