Rotoworld stated they were looking for a back up IF and/or LH hitter. Boni would fit that at least to some extent. They'd probably be more interested in DeRosa than Boni since he's horrible this year but he's young and they might want to gamble. Might be able to make something happen but waivers might complicate it a bit.

If this is true, then the Braves probably already inquired on these guys before the deadline and AA said no.

I don't care what we get for Bonifacio. Removing him makes the team better and forces AA to find a better backup OF and HOPEFULLY a better 2B.
