beachbum Verified Member Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Is there a way to see what times they ran in the 60 yard dash or other metrics used? I was just wondering how some of our guys stack up against the top speed guys in the various leagues. I know speed isn't always the top factor for base stealing but we have some guys who are up there in stolen bases in their respective leagues. Tim Locastro 4th in App League Ian Parmley 3rd in NWL Dalton Pompey 6th in MWL Jon Berti 1st in FSL Kevin Pillar top 20 in EL and was moved up Mike Mccoy 8th in IL I wonder how they stack up against (other top speed guys): Billy Hamilton (obviously the fastest by far) Travis Jankowski Billy Burns Michah Johnson Byron Buxton Anthony Gose

Wont be the same as they stand today but, will give you a general handle on their speed.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 None of those guys are prospects anyway.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 I thought D.J. Davis was susposed to be the fastest of anyone we have.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Yep, he's even faster than Buxton. Our only 80 speed guy. The OP was looking at SB leaderboards so missed him I guess. Which leads to the question, why isn't Davis stealing more? 8SB and 5CS!?!!
beachbum Verified Member Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 Thanks guys! Ya I was just looking quickly at SB leader boards and I definitely missed Davis wish they had a place to view those times all in one place haha
beachbum Verified Member Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 I saw somewhere Gose ran a 6.5 (age 18) before drafted, DJ Davis ran a 6.38 before drafted (age 18) and Berti ran a 6.42 before he was drafted (age 21) for example but like DuckDuckGose said how accurate are those today? I just thought it was a curious stat that didn't get talked about a lot.
