Ayn Rand isn't my idol, anyone who identifies with the left-right liberal-conservative paradigm is a Useful Idiot who has fallen for the "red team/blue team" trap they employ to get us fighting each other instead of clearly identifying the people who pull said strings.

 

However, the fictional character Howard Roark is the closest approximation I have ever encountered in either fiction or the real world to the kind of person I wish I was, and wish to become, and am actively striving to become; totally without ego.
