AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 his range really isn't very good Reyes was never, ever a good ss. I was so excited to see Hech up last year and thought if he could match K. Johnson's 2nd base stats we would be fine. He could do things almost no other ss could; I felt like a proud mother. Now we have lost him, Noah, T.D( tho he is fragile), and all wait to see if Reyes' offense will offset his defense. So sad.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 No, its really not. You just called Reyes a replacement-level SS, lol. Put more words in my mouth, thank you.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I told you bro, way too much gift in that kid, Lawrie's a beast waiting to be unleashed. as long as he stays on his meds
SAAviour Verified Member Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I just had a vision, a wonderful vision. Tomorrow just as the bottom of the 7th is rolling around, and the jays are down by 5 or so runs...JP finishes warming up the pitcher, cespedes steps into the box....then Gibbons calls for JP to come out for Thole...then JP is seen hugging team mates in the dug out...........
Caper Verified Member Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 The Jays need an absolute epic defensive 2nd baseman next year.... or SS if you want Reyes to play 2nd... which might be the best option.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 he only gets 1 or two steps before the ball is by him. diving really doesn't help if you are 10 ft away. he's average to his right, but really s***** up the middle. If a SS gives up at least 1 hit a game that a slightly above average SS would not, what does it matter if he bats over .300?

Do you remember when Snider was called in and told he was traded? That was very sad for me. I was driving listening to the game and had to pull over... I was in shock.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 game out of hand, trying to pound the zone too much? just listen to Tabler, pitching to the scoreboard brah. lol
Caper Verified Member Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Hech Yip.... I don't care if he hit's .200. I really think Hech could be the player they regret giving up most.

Caper Verified Member Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Tears of joy would come to my eye, and for that moment all would be right in the world. How about this. Imagine the Travis Snider scenario. Thole comes into the game for JPA. You see JPA with tears in his eyes in the dug out. All his team mates hugging him...... and word comes up that the bluejays and JPA have just reached an agreement on a 6 year extension.
Caper Verified Member Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Is there any excuse for not trading Oliver? Because I am not feeling too good right about now, especially after his comments to the media f***, AA How about nobody wants him?

I'd seriously consider being done with the Jays altogether if that happened, LOL.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 THANK U JAYS for beating up on Griffin cause I'm chasing BTS in the DDL!!! Griffin just lost it all in a hurry. I ran Lind and Lawrie out there for the jays. picked well today. lol

It's looking like they won't do anything at all.

There's a guy that screams Astro's. I can't accept he's this bad..... he is not. I really feel there is a super star locked in there somewhere.
