he was trying to cover a plate that was 4 feet wide. not easy... ump was gonna call anything that didn't bounce or hit him a strike.

Strike 2 pitch wasn't even that bad - those kind of calls are going to happen all the time - Bautista choose to get upset about it. And he choose to swing flailingly at the next pitch which was clearly way outside. That was an awful AB, no matter how you slice it.
