Pete_7 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Not sure what's worse how awful the team is or how stupid the fan base is
Howard Roark Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I'm not listening right now (checking out the sweet Richard Thompson career retrospective boxset at the moment). But...nutshell? Seconded. I can't bring myself to actually listen to that s***, but I want to know exactly HOW Wilner is suffering. That would upgrade my chubby to a full-blown raging erection.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 .270 career OBP is laughable for a catcher let alone a DH .253 career avg is laughable for a allstar RF
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 da fuq? .225 17 homers 44 RBIs .250 17 homers 60 RBIS
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 You're trying to communicate something here. I just don't know what. If ur being serious...basically JPA top, pujos bottom. JPA has a chance to ave a better season if he starts hitting.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 If ur being serious...basically JPA top, pujos bottom. JPA has a chance to ave a better season if he starts hitting. Agreed JPA 17 dingers > Mauer 8 dingers. Right?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 If ur being serious...basically JPA top, pujos bottom. JPA has a chance to ave a better season if he starts hitting. JPA = 82 wRC+, 86 career Pujols = 109 wRC+, ZiPS ROS = 128, Steamer = 146 Comparing them laughably misguided. JPA (82 wRC+) - (100 wRC+) = 18% below league avg John Buck = 9% below league avg

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2013 Author Posted July 25, 2013 29. Not exactly "old". And no, I'm not using your age to disparage you; I remember when I was your age and people tried that s*** with me, and it sucked, I know. I merely referenced your age to say that I understand why you get so emotional and deploy so much fallacious logic in your arguments. I'm just messing with you brother, you failed the test by getting genuinely upset. It's the internet, stop taking it so seriously and you'll enjoy yourself more, I promise you. But Bautista IS a whiny little pussified bitch, though. That's a fact. ok you win lol. Keyboard warrior mode is off . i never said Bautista isn't whiny so there's that ;P
Caper Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I liked the game.... really we could have won 5 of the last 7... or what ever the streak is. We are not going to win this year, so might as well finish last.... better draft position and better signing bonus pool for the IF market next year. Playoffs or last, that's all I want.
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Omg we lost again? This is like the 4th time in 5 games I thought we had it won only to lose. Hahaha this is becoming hilarious. Just blow it up, start from scratch. Let's pull a Marlins and just restart. This org is screwed from the top to the bottom, just clean house.
GNick Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Dem winning baseball instincts. Brain cells

If we could have won 4 of the last 5, against the 2 hottest teams in baseball, why would such a team require a blow up? It's been like this most of the year. Just needs tinkering... some major tinkering.... but tinkering.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 If we could have won 4 of the last 5, against the 2 hottest teams in baseball, why would such a team require a blow up? Oh, maybe it's the fact that they've lost 55 games, are 10 games under .500, are in last place, and cost $118 million and all our best prospects to put together? "Tinkering" does nothing when the core is poisonous.
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Bautista and Oliver for Profar and whatever. Get it done.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Reyes, Bau, and EE are poisonous? Bautista is a selfish player and a whiner. He's supposed to be the "leader" but sets a horrible example for the rest of the team. Reyes is also widely known around the league as a selfish and arrogant clown. He's been really overrated by the media and team, too. The spin about how the Jays were "going to start winning when Reyes comes back" is a joke. He's also one of the worst offenders when it comes to the embarrassing overcelebrating that this team does. I never want to see the "lo viste" sign again.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
