The. f*** Oh, not to worry, that's just something daddies and mommies do when they love each other very much and have been following the Toronto Blue Jays for more than a few seasons.
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Back to Escobar and Hech., they both have approx. 300-320 at bats and Hech's average is a bit higher than Escobar's. Whose defense and age would you prefer?
Howard Roark Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Nice job laying off two straight breaking balls there Bautista, however I'm extremely disappointed that you don't seem to have some sort of patented celebration for such a feat.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Back to Escobar and Hech., they both have approx. 300-320 at bats and Hech's average is a bit higher than Escobar's. Whose defense and age would you prefer? Hech easily but has nothing to do with batting average. He has better makeup (lol), years of control, better defense.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Hech's batting stats are roughly identical to Izturis, are trending in the right direction, and come with gold glove defense. And he's young. I wouldn't really want either right now. Izturis is a pretty good bench guy. And let's be honest, Hech's offense is what it is.
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Of course, he is young and will prob. get better. His bat isn't horrible
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Hech easily but has nothing to do with batting average. He has better makeup (lol), years of control, better defense. Hech's best case scenario is Escobar.

Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Escobar fWAR: 2.4, Hech fWAR: 0.0 Escobar FIP: 8.3, Hech FIP: -0.8 Escobar OPS: .676, Hech OPS: .623 Not to mention Escobar is having a down year offensively. He's more than capable of putting up some solid offensive numbers... he's a yo-yo though.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Imagine if Escobar never wrote that s*** on his eye. The Miami deal probably never happens.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Please use reply with quote button. I already said he's a yo-yo, I admit he has as many down years as up years.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Andrelton Simmons is damn good .282 wOBA but................................... 2WAR lol

Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 It probably still happens, but we trade them Sierra or someone I really doubt it. AA is not inclined to get another SS. Miami wants to do a payroll dump and Reyes is a big part of that. The space-time continuum changes completely.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Uggh... this game is going nowhere fast.
