JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 My apologies if it's been posted before but I was checking out stats and this one kind of hit me. According to ESPN, Dickey's home away stats are like night and day: ERA W L SV SVO GP GS CG IP H R ER HR BB SO AVG 3.58 4 5 0 0 10 10 1 65.1 58 28 26 6 24 40 .240 Away 5.83 4 5 0 0 10 10 0 63.1 62 44 41 14 23 52 .251 Home Too bad someone wouldn't offer to take him off our hands. I'm probably missing something here since there has to be more going on than just this breakdown of how he can be pretty decent away but horrible home.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 I guess we'll see at the end of the year how things hold.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 lol people and their small sample size arguments....by the time he gets a large enough sample size he'll be retired. I'd hate to see what the SSS people say while they follow the NFL. How many more games do we need to see to tell that his trick pitch gives up a lot of gopher balls in the Rogers Center.
JoJo Parker Dunedin Blue Jays - A SS On Tuesday, Parker was just 1-for-5, but the one hit was his first professional home run. Explore JoJo Parker News >
