Man this team..How can this lineup be so bad yet at times look so dangerous? defense is an issue, and pitching is as well. And this was supposed to be a contender? A lot of under achievement going on here.

 

The players know whats going on. They've checked out. If this team was in contention, you would probably see better play from the contingent of players from on particular Caribbean country.

selling Jansen alone wont net the jays enough to get better, but sure they can trade him now. they need to get rid of davis, Boni, JPA... JJ needs to be traded before the deadline just to make sure they get something for him, but selling all those pieces wont get them more than 1 good piece and some org filler.

Texas was playing just horrendous baseball.

Colorado would be 5-10 games under .500 in the AL East and they were missing Tulo.

Baltimore was a legit series win.

 

This is just a bad baseball team. Are they talented? Yes but overall they just dont play consistant good baseball and are flawed in important areas.

Pretty much this, and just a streak of good starts in a row, a bit of luck. this team is barely better then last year with a much bigger payroll and worse farm talent. Very flawed at the plate, defense and starting pitching.

the baltimore series was the best i've ever seen them play and they still only barely won at 100%. not that i'm complaining though, it just goes to show how good baltimore is...
