He's to cowardly, we've been struggling to score runs - we have speed on third base, Boni on deck (our worst hitter) and we're not running on contact. He does so many little things that don't make sense.

 

He's definately not the reason for our bad start, but he's a s*** manager at times.

Good managers find ways to put the players in situations to be successful. Joe Maddon does it well. Gibbons thinks the bottom of lineup is going to get a big 2 out hit and that almost never happens. Its just bad baseball.

 

Joe Maddon has a better team than Gibbons.

Does that prevent him from putting the contact play on with one out and Boni on deck? Your not going to get many opportunities to score against Masterson,so how about rolling the dice and put some pressure on their defense?

 

Gibbons is a horrible in game manager, except for handling the pen.
