The one saving grace this team may have is a big offensive outburst due for Bautista in the coming weeks. Whether it's at home or in Minny the man just pummels this team mercilessly no matter who is pitching. Bautista's career OPS is the highest by far against the Twins and has now 19 HR in 34 games against them for his career.

But what's really odd about it is that he seems to find his swing for the weeks thereafter against every opponent once a Minny series is done. Last year his OPS was .662 going into the Twins series on May 10th, two weeks later it was over .800. In 2011 he started the year against the Twins and never looked back until after the all-star break (no games against the Twins in the second half). In 2010 on May 16th going into the Twins series he had a "mere" .879 OPS. Two weeks later it's over 1.000. And in 2009 the Twins series that changed his whole life started Sept 7 when his OPS was .662 and he ends the season with a .757 OPS and 10 HR in a month.

I told you all Baustista is only good for a short period of time, he is over-rated, he goes into month long slumps which hurt the team so badly, but when we have thrown in the white towel to surrender, then he puts on his hitting shoes.

Oh I forgot, look who is pitching for Minnesota. We have pitchers down in AA ball much better then the rebuilding Twins have. I hope he has a good series v s. Minnesota. They have lost 6 in a row and with our help can make it 8 in a row, Sat. and Sunday, but what is so unsual about this, these guys have already lost 10 in a row back in May. I don't remember a season where a team was so bad that they lost 10 in a row twice in one season.
