There were awful calls on JV all series long. It may not be a conspiracy but it sure as hell isn't in the Raptors' favour.

Yeah JV gets some bad calls, he must say something to the refs to piss them off because its weird. Refs gave them a ton of calls this game. The George charge call could have easily been an AND1

He chucked up 31 shots, many of them bricks and played 40 minutes while Powell played like a stud and got benched during crunch time.

Demar's untouchable

I think they let Demar walk

I was actually thinking he'd get injured at some point driving on a long-two contested eurostep 360 windmill when Hassan Whiteside comes out of nowhere and physically removes him from the airspace

our only chance of winning is if derozan gets injured probably

What even is the actual injury? I know its the elbow but what exactly can be done about it.

he got his elbow drained is all I know

Most cringe worthy thing I heard on SN just now. Sid Sixeiro said Casey was the best coach in the league this year pretty much.

Also apparently will get a 3 year extension after the playoffs are done.

A ~3-1 pytho win-loss versus the Heat is helpful. There was a 538 article that showed that reg season h2h matchups were somewhat important come playoff time

^everything gets thrown out the window when your best player is hurt just like last year when they swept the wiz in the RS.

And the Toronto Marathon didn't f*** up my drive to work today.

that's because it wasn't the Toronto Marathon today

watching the fourth quarter felt like one.... so the mistake is understandable.

Anyone else have a dream of demar leaving, Norm starting and Horford coming to play the 4?

Raptors are pretty strong favourites against the Heat. I'm surprised. I think the Heat have value here though I wouldn't bet it due to my allegiances.

The Eastern Conference winner odds are way out of wack...Cleveland is a -500. Of course they will be the favourite but THAT much of a favourite? I think betting the field has value.

Home Court is worth a lot in the NBA. Also Raps are a better team talent wise.

raps have more talent than the heat? really?

broken kyle lowry vs goran dragic (I DUNNO, PROBABLY DRAGIC BUT ONLY CUZ LOWRYS HURTING)

dwyane wade vs demar derozan (WADE EASILY)

joe johnson vs broken-ish demarre carroll (PUSH)

luol deng vs patrick patterson (DENG IS BETTER)

hassan whiteside vs jonas valanciunas (WHITESIDE IS BETTER)

MIA Bench of Richardson, Winslow, Stoudemire, & McRoberts vs TOR Bench of Joseph, Biyombo, Powell, & Ross (OUR BENCH KILLS THEM)

Even if Lowry was healthy and Carroll was consistent I still think it would be a push talent-wise at absolute best.

Thanks for that piece of advice. I was never able to figure that out myself especially this year with two teams riding 40+ game home winning streaks.

Casey was better than Vogel, loooool. Vogel's only mistake this series was letting Paul George sit too long. Inserting Myles Turner into the starting lineup was smart, Derozan being covered by George or Solomon hill for all his mins was smart. His media scrums was brilliant. Paul George shot more free throws than Derozan who was top 3 in free throw attempts per game. Vogel >>>>>>>>> Casey. I'll give Casey credit for sitting Scola and going small in game 5 but neglecting JV and not sitting Derozan in favour of a Powell-Carroll match up is stupid.

Maybe talent was the wrong word but the Raptors are a better team. They had 8 more wins in the regular season after all. Going to come down to Lowry though.
