12:30 start time sucks ass usually but this works out pretty well for us with the Jays game being at 4 pm. Going to be a great day of sports!

I think the NHL is pretty boring with all it's parity and low scoring games. I don't feel the need to randomly comment on it come playoff team when their fans are getting exciting..

 

Every league has its flaws:

 

NFL: Commercials every 30 seconds; Penalizing celebrations.

 

MLB: Boring most of game; No cap (debatable)

 

NHL: Low scoring games (which the league is trying to address by decreasing goalie equipment size); Too much parity (debatable).

 

NBA: One superstar player can turn a crappy team into a contender (this will never change considering how many players are on a team); Refs suck; First 3 quarters are boring (as well as the final 2 minutes).

My personal preference in terms of entertainment: NHL > MLB > NBA > NFL. NHL is the only league where I'm willing to watch the playoffs even when my favorite team doesn't make it.

big sports day. Man United game, then Raptors and finally Jays. no overlaps so I don't have to go cross eyed.

I find NBA the best if my team isn't in it. I will pick watching the Spurs or Warriors in the playoffs over anything that isn't Jays. The first couple of rounds in the NBA playoffs suck but the Conference Finals and Finals are my favourite time to watch sports.

LOL. You just said NBA is a snoozefest yet complimented College Basketball... NCAA ball is probably the least entertaining of them all. 30 Sec shot clock and most players are awful relative to the NBA.

 

Watching Warriors and Spurs is the mecca of entertainment.

NBA refs rig the game...therefore it's boring. You can bet on an NBA game and almost always be right, not with MM.

 

Spurs are elite but Warriors are winning, so why even bother playing the games? Should just crown the Warriors champs.

You still didn't answer my question. Why bother playing the games if the Warriors are the undisputed champs? No other league is like that.

Because they still can lose? Anything can happen. If Steph gets hurt the Spurs become the favs.

 

Womens basketball has seen UCONN win like 150 games in a row or something crazy the same Org. you are claiming is the best.

Scotland's own Thon Maker has been made eligible to the NBA draft. He's currently a high schooler less then an hour away from TO. Seems to be to be an just a natural fit for the RAPS. Can spend 2 or 3 years on the D-League team, before you have to worry about him.

Hard to image in would fit well on the front or back, but I could see maybe on the hats and sleeves.

This is where baseball's traditionalism can be a good thing. A few years back, MLB planned a SpiderMan promotion with web imprints on the bases and they had to abandon it because fans though it was ********. I'm not saying it can never happen but MLB will probably be the last league to allow something like what the NBA just did.

lol imagine Jays jerseys with Rogers plastered on it. We probably wouldn't even get the revenue from it since Rogers would sign a under market deal for it.

Raptors should probably just forfeit and regroup for next season. Literally no point of playing when Goldenstate is going to win regardless
