Probably not, Visa troubles could be a stumbling block. I would imagine they will be keeping it one of the northern states though for easier access to the players if need be

I'm off the Masai bandwagon. Not only did he continue the Toronto Raptor tradition of treadmilling, he allowed a coach to play arguably a top 3 player on the team only 15 minutes a game in the regular season, and barely any minutes in the playoffs. AND NOW HE'S KEEPING THE COACH.

 

Lol Masai is still a top 5-10 GM. They get rid of him they would bring in someone worse. Raptors are just a doomed franchise. Thats what I hate about the NBA, half the teams have no shot at ever winning just because of where they are.

Pretty much need to have one of three things to have a successful long term franchise

 

1) Superstar player( which we don't have)

2) Surplus of young talent with star potential (which we don't have)

3) Great coach with great-good players who buy into the system, such as the Hawks (which we clearly don't have)

 

We have Bruno though!

 

If Casey's back next year I'll start following another team

I'll temporarily watch another team or ignore until better management / coaching / whatever is necessary is in place so i can stomach it

 

I did that with the Leafs and that worked pretty well with Nonis AND Carlyle getting fired lol

It was a pretty even deal. The only good player we got out of it was Patterson and Gay has performed well now that he's away from Casey.

 

And that deal working well in the short term was by luck as admitted by masai himself. He wanted to tank, hence the Lowry deal the knicks declined so you could say that trade was a net loss in the long run.

Vas got 2 years to return and Hayes wasn't expiring. Lou will is fine but he'll never thrive in a proper offense... Why did you think Atlanta gave him away? The guy is strictly an iso player. He's a better one dimentional Iso player than derozan though I'll give him that.
