He was openly calling out the team to go to the paint and feed the big man (mainly JV). It was kind of a breath of fresh air.

I can't understand for the life of me why James Johnson hasn't been in this game at the 4 spot when the raptors have been getting torched by 3's.

I'd normally never say this, but he better be in order to justify this.

Raptors aren't going anywhere in the playoffs if the guards can't find a way to stop penetration into the paint. It's horrendous and puts undue pressure on JV to protect the rim.
