Best part is that with Lowry struggling to shoot the ball, James Johnson is arguably our best player right now. Yet he didnt come back in until under 3 minutes left

We're not as good as we think we are but we're also not as bad as we think we are. This was a tough stretch and losses were expected. They didn't get embarrassed by any means.

The fact that they're 37-20 with Demar Derozan considered as your star player and Kyle Lowry playing like Raymend Felton in 2015 is pretty good all in all, unfortunately this team doesn't have much of a ceiling. I honestly would rather be the sixers.

We are in a good position going forward though. Lots of cap space and creative/intelligent GM with multiple first round picks to work with, it's not a bad spot to be in.

It's just hard to see how this team will ever find it's superstar to compete for championships. They're going to be picking in the 20s for the foreseeable future so we're not going to draft one and Toronto is not a location that is going to attract big time free agents. I guess Masai is banking on another harden situation to arise so we can swoop in or catch lighting in a bottle like Atlanta.
