eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Patterson is a god damn stud. He might be the most reliable guy we have in crunch time... Always seems to get a huge tip or rebound.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Interesting. Assistant coach was telling the guys what to do after WIzards TO.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 this is why I can't watch basketball. Momentum is huge in this game and raises my blood pressure.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Wtf was that? This game is not over yet.
Frag Verified Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 this is why I can't watch basketball. Momentum is huge in this game and raises my blood pressure. It's boring until the last minute of the 4th quarter and/or in OT.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Not sure if referring to "God damn" or my username, lol Both. LoL
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Make 1 and its over Kyle.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Horrible 4th quarter but they just won 4 games in 5 nights. That's a huge accomplishment.
Frag Verified Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 JV only got around 17 minutes in this game. Casey being Casey again?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Raps are going to enjoy no practice tomorrow. Also get to watch the Superbowl which im sure they will like.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 JV only got around 17 minutes in this game. Casey being Casey again? Foul trouble. Amir and PP also played amazing so even if he wasn't in foul trouble he would of sat.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 JV only got around 17 minutes in this game. Casey being Casey again? Got into foul trouble. Can't fault Casey for this. JV was s*** tonight.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Raps are going to enjoy no practice tomorrow. Also get to watch the Superbowl which im sure they will like. Yeah a well deserved day off with some beers, food and hopefully a Pats victory!
Frag Verified Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Raptors have a 14-game lead in the Atlantic. That is nuts, both in how good they have been and how bad the rest of the division is.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Yeah a well deserved day off with some beers, food and hopefully a Pats victory! Like everything but the last part!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 3.5 games up on the Bulls.. 5 up on Cleveland.. Need to gain as much ground as we can. 2nd/3rd seed or die trying.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 We have a .769 winning percentage this year with DD in the lineup (63 win pace)
immature Verified Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Wiggins is good. 33 points against Cleveland with a back up back up back up PG. Rubio should be back on Monday so that should give Wiggins even more opportunities. Though I hope Minnesota keeps losing and drafts Okafor. Wiggins and Okafor together would be quite the foundation.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 So Cleveland must already be regretting the Love trade, yes?
immature Verified Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Numbers alone, Wiggins and Love are producing almost equally offensively with Love averaging and rebounding a bit more and Wiggins shooting at a slightly higher rate with less turnovers and more steals etc.. Defense its not even close, Wiggins is viewed as a future all NBA defensive player and Love is notorious for being a black hole. Add the fact that Wiggins is under control for a bunch more years and Love is a free agent next year, and this could conceivably go down as one of the worst trades in NBA history. Though if Cleveland wins this year all will be forgotten and everyone will say it was a necessary overpay.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Everything you just said plus this: Wiggins is a rookie. The sky is the limit. That is all.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Wiggins wouldn't get any shots in Cleveland. Love was a monster on the Wolves and I have no idea why Irving is taking 4 shots a game more than him. If Love stays in Cleveland after this year I still like the trade for Cleveland. And don't say Love put up empty stats because he didn't win in Minnesota, they were a 40 win team last year in the Western conference and they have 8 wins right now.
Frag Verified Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 The Hawks are nuts right now, and the Raptors were lucky to face them twice in the first 20 games of the season. Since the Hawks' last loss to the Raptors on November 26, 2014, they have lost only 2 games since (none in 2015, obviously). Raptors are 2-1 against the Hawks, playing them one last time right after the all-star break (yay?).
immature Verified Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I don't think you can say Wiggins wouldn't get any shots with Cleveland. He would be facing weaker defenders, can post up, create for himself and hit the open 3. Wiggins, James and Irving on offense would of been fun to watch. And Minnesota sucks this year because of injuries and a tanking mentality. Can't really compare the two seasons. If Love resigns then the trade is obviously closer, but not even taking into account salary or potential, I would rather have Wiggins on my team for the next 3 years than Love.

immature Verified Member Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Probably a bit biased in favor of Wiggy, but I have never thought Love was superstar, even when he was putting up 25 and 12 in Minny.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Love was a legit star when he was with the wolves. People seem to forget there's 5 guys out there on the court at the same time.

People seem to forget there's 5 guys out there on the court at the same time. He's a stretch 4 who isn't even that great of a shooter... 38% of his shots have been from behind the arc this year... a number that has been trending up over the last few years (30% two years ago). LOL @ whoever commits a max contract to him. The guy is shooting like 33% in the paint this year. He has no inside game.
