I could see why Casey took out JV late because they wanted Lowry to drive in the pain and force the defence to either crash leaving an open 3 or let Lowry get a high % bucket. Still, while he was in there they should of ran more plays for him. Lowry had a pretty bad game besides some nice passes in the first 5 min. Seems he has hit a bit of a wall lately and I don't think its a coincidence the team is playing their worst ball of the season while he has had a slump.

In all fairness, this core as it is probably hasn't hit its peak. Will have lots of cap space coming up and a valuable NYK/Denver pick, and no one is really aging except poor Amir.

In all fairness, this core as it is probably hasn't hit its peak. Will have lots of cap space coming up and a valuable NYK/Denver pick, and no one is really aging except poor Amir.

I really wish we could have got SVG - although he wanted full control which was obviously never happening.

 

Even if there were some great coaching candidates out there, I highly doubt Casey goes, even if we lose 1st round again.

 

We weren't expected to be contending for the #1 seed this year, so if we fade or struggle in the playoffs, I doubt that will come down on Casey.

He did have them playing hard though and busting their asses off so you had to give him credit for that. I dont have the numbers on me but their record vs teams they "were supposed to beat" was phenomenal and they didnt take games off. Lately its just one giant cluster f*** though and Im gonna pop a blood vessel soon if Vasquez and Lou see extended time on the court together.

Lol hope this is a joke. I think he gets too much criticism but I've never said he's a great coach. I think ultimately they need a better coach if they want to go far into the playoffs. Casey's rotations have been a lot better (aside from the Landry Fields disaster) but the team still takes a lot of stupid shots on offence. I don't blame Casey for the defense though because the reality is the Raptors have a lot of bad defensive players.
