JV has been pretty bad tonight. That said Hansborough looks worse. Id rather see Amir guarding Vucevic and have Ppat on Frye.

 

Hansbrough gets bullied by Vucevic, which forces the Raps to double team him as if he were Shaq, leaving wide open guys in the perimeter.

 

The frustration was obvious at the end of that quarter, DeMar started forcing shots, and then made typical frustration fouls. Lowry was also trying to do a bit too much, of course since Hansbrough is a non-factor on offense pick and rolls are useless except for the screen.

Exactly. JV is the only one with the required strent to guard and box out Vucevic without help.

 

Jonas has been bad in transition but it's not like the defense has been magically better with the bench out there.

I've been watching for 5 minutes and Demar has already made three terrible plays on defense

 

Well he has never been a good defender so what did you really expect? He's a great scorer who has a great ability to get to the line.

At least put up some sort of resistance, fouling Harris on that 3 point shot was brutal, getting backed down and then pretty much just getting out of the way for an easy lay up is just as bad. There's bad and then there's giving no effort. Patterson is a bad defender overall but he at least makes his guy work and doesn't commit stupid fouls

Agreed. His offence carries to his defence a lot of the time.

His bias is so much more tolerable than Buck and Pat. I think most people appreciate Jack and know he's biased a bit, unlike the blue jays crew.

 

He never BS's though, everything he says is usually right, and he's not afraid to criticize the team.
