please, we already deal with enough cardinals/rays dick slurping. the last thing we need is it leaking into basketball

The rays and cardinals are more like the blue jays compared to the spurs.

This offseason seems too good to be true.

Man City?

A bunch of rich arab dudes throwing massive amounts of money around does not equal well run.

I'd say that they're pretty terribly run actually. Incredibly rich team who continues to fail in Europe year after year. Winning the EPL doesn't really mean anything with a payroll that big.

I think he was being sarcastic. I was gonna say the Brooklyn Nets in the same light.

Hayes, Fields, Hansbrough, Amir and Williams all expire in 2015, about 30 million. That's when we can make a big splash in FA, though I want Amir Johnson back at market value.

If Lou is back to his old self this season, I wouldn't mind having him back at a similar salary (5 per) as our 6th man. If GV and Pat come back I am going to be so f***ing excited about this bench man

Quote from the thread starter on realgm:

"To give you a ballpark number if Vasquez & Patterson take 4.5 & 5.5 respectively that would leave us at around 47 million (lowry at 12, Demar, Novak, Val, Ross, Bruno, Bebe, 2015 1st, Vasquez at 4.5, Patterson at 5.5).

Should be enough for max cap space."

That offseason has Love, Aldridge and Millsap who we could go after to be our starting PF.

Moving Novak's contract will be huge to our plans to make a big splash next year. I trust Masai though

Love Aldridge but he's getting up there in age. I think he'll stay with Portland anyways... Great young team.

I don't know if I would want Aldridge on the contract he will be chasing (I am sure it will take a max deal to get him away from Portland).

.507 ts% last year as a PF. Takes a lot of long 2s (similar to demar without as many FTs and 0 3s), volume shooter and he's a mediocre defender.

Go for Love and if not, go all out on KD. Two straight division titles and hopefully some deep playoff runs could sway him.

Just go for Love and Vince now, resign Pat Pat, let GV walk and it's a 55 win ,ECF team.

I've always believed Toronto is an easy market to get players to resign here if the team is solid but won't contend with the top destinations for FA's

It's not exactly going to be easy to get Kevin Love... What is your package to get him?

The torotni media makes it out to be like he's going to be some perennial all star when he didn't improve at the second year. He isn't talented enough that you make him untouchable for a top 5 player in the league ( arguably at least)

I will admit I am biased towards JV. However, I think he showed a lot more of his offensive arsenal this season.

A big reason why he struggled early on is he didn't have confidence in his jump shot. He re-gained that confidence in the 2nd half of the season. First half he had a 105 ORTG and second half that shot up to 121, TS% from .547 to .637. I think he struggled with being a bit more of a focal point at the starting of the year, so I was happy to see him play a full season and perform well down the stretch (only played 60 games last year, ended up playing 88 including the playoffs this year).

He didn't improve this year? Are you kidding me? He did start off a bit slow but he was a beast after the first month or two.

22 year old who has shown an ability to be a force on the glass and has a developing post game. He's a f***ing stud who is only going to get better.

JV just needs to play angry. Whenever he played angry last year he was basically unstoppable.
