Officiating is definitely a little tight, but it's been fair so far.

Fair, definitely, not very biased at all, but they should really let these two play a bit. I can understand not wanting fireworks though.

I think a rivalry will be born with this series.

I really like Patterson on Pierce, I think we have the advantage on both ends of the floor there.

Also Ross on Deron is going to be the key to this 2nd half. Deron already took 17 shots lol

Just tuned in for the second half here, Brooklyn getting all the calls so far, all ball block on Garnett and he goes to the line for two... Raps look really tense.

Reffing has been very tight, but it's been bad both ways so far. Good game, but they need to let them play a little more.

Wow, no fouls on Brooklyn the entire 4th quarter.... Really?

That was an obvious And1 on JV. Pathetic missed call.

Can't say it really wasn't all that unexpected, the Raps are very inexperienced in playoff basketball which is a different beast.

I only saw the second half but it looked like they were really tense... Maybe they come back in game 2 a little more confident.

And while you can't blame the refs, not calling a single foul on Brooklyn in the entire 4th quarter is just terrible. You could probably count on 1 hand in all of nba history the # of games in the playoffs had no fouls in the 4th quarter on a team.

It really is worse than umpiring in baseball where veterans pitchers get strikes over rookies... You can never convince me that a basket ball team didn't commit a single foul in the 4th quarter of a playoff game. It just doesn't happen. If you want to put the whistles away and only call the wildly obvious ones...fine, but put them away for both teams.

This happened once during one of my games. It was nuts. It's the most frustrating thing.
