over500 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Agreed. Charlotte scares me. They always play the Raps tough. I think Washington would be difficult but they'd take it in 6 (Gortat is super underrated and Wall has really come along). Al Jefferson scares the s*** out of me. DD always looks like a huge scrub against Henderson too.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 JV peaking at the right time: March: 12.2PPG/8.5RPG .605 FG% April: 20PPG/10RPG .674 FG% He's playing like an absolute world killer right now. I'm not sure what happened but something has clicked and he's playing angry.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I think JV is the key to any deep run. Especially against Chi/Cha, Big Al is a beast on offense but a sieve on defense. If we can make him consistently work on the defensive end then I think we can wear him down
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Keep the train rolling forward tonight boys. Should be an easy win if they execute as 'Melo is hurt.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Terrible start for both teams. Ugly shots.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Andrew Wiggins in the house. JV once again very solid even though I'm focusing more on the Jays' game.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Ya JV is playing really well. Struggling from the line though. 8 Rebs, next best on Toronto has 3
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Christ, stop settling for long jumpers.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Christ, stop settling for long jumpers. Yup, Knicks are barely contesting down low, specially when Chandler sits.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 They don't deserve to win this game with this effort.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Every time Vasquez makes a turnover a kitten dies in Toronto.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 It's laughable that Chuck Hayes is in over Valanciunas in the 4th quarter.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Seriously... they're going to lose to the knicks?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 JR Smith just barreled Lowry, not even going to review it?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Lol apparently the Bulls are getting beat by the Pistons too. That's far worse than losing to the Knicks.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Wow, looks like JV is having a big game on the boards!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Terrible loss. Hopefully Chicago doesn't come back vs Detroit (they likely will).
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Game over. And btw once again Casey puts in Salmons over Ross in the 4th.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Detroit was up by like 18 over Chicago and now it's a 2 points game. God dammit.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 And suddenly it's a goddamn blowout.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 So I just tuned in, and apparently we're blowing out Detroit, not exactly unexpected.
letsgobjs Verified Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 The pacers beat the thunder earlier, so if they win against Orlando, or the heat lose a game they'll take the top seed. Maybe it's not the end of the world if the bulls win out. Granted a series against the nets would be tougher but I think we can all agree that a second round match-up against the pacers is the preferred option.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Kyle Lowry has 3 straight three's going back to the last minute of the 2nd quarter. Ridiculous.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Starting to look like it won't matter much even if the Raps get in the playoffs, they won't win getting out rebounded by 30 every game.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 So, um, Andre Drummond and stuff. Him and Monroe are studs, it's rather mind-boggling that the Pistons are so awful given that they actually have a fair bit of talent. The bigs are getting every single rebound.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 They should be feeding JV every trip, yet they continue to settle for long 2's on the most obvious play in the world where DeRozan just curls up from the baseline off a screen..... This offense is so frustrating to watch.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 They should be feeding JV every trip, yet they continue to settle for long 2's every trip.... This offense is so frustrating to watch. The only way we'll pull away is by getting Drummond and Monroe in foul trouble, I agree.
