eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 John Salmons #2 on twitter trends right now in the world.
theblujay Verified Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Losses like this remind me I'm a Raptors fan
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Ross has a hip contusion...but somethign tells me Salmons would have been playing regardless
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Epic choke by the Raptors. Casey: you're fired. His coaching is like AA's general managing. Salmons needs to either be cut or have the dignity to leave the team himself so we won't have to be subjected to him anymore. Losses like this are why the Raps should have tanked. Until we get a legitimate superstar, we will more often than not be the punching bag in games like this.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Guys. Is Salmons officially the JPA of this team? He has to be, right?

They're a few pieces away (need an elite rebounder and more wing depth) from being an elite team. They just took arguably the best team in the league to the limit. Brutal finish (100% of which is attributed to John Salmons) but they showed some great fight tonight. I think we'll have a great chance in the playoffs if Casey actually plays his best players.
Caper Verified Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I'm hoping last night is one of those things that in the end looking back, turn into a positive.... maybe this will burn them sooo bad that it becomes something they learn from. They should hold on to the 3 seed... because I think they only play 5 more games against teams with winning records.
Caper Verified Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 It should be noted that John Salmons did lead the Raptors to a comeback win against the Thunder the last time these teams played.

Lol that's a stretch dude. Guy shot 5-12 and 14 pts...not exactly a great performance. One mediocre game 4 months ago doesn't make up for him being the worst rotation player in the entire league for the last 2 months.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Is anyone watching? Raptors finally showing some energy, they need to stop settling for long jumpers and attack the basket like the last couple of plays.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Said it the other night, that was the type of loss that could kill a team. They have no energy out there. John Salmons may have single handedly ruined our season.

John Salmons may have single handedly ruined our season. If anything, the last few games are really exposing the Raptors bench and rebounding needs. Still a good team, but a long way to go to be great.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I'm absolutely shocked that Salmons only has 6 minutes today. Thought Casey would've started him in order to rebuild his confidence.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 what the s***... Casey has Ross on the floor in the 4th quarter? I must be dreaming.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 So many f***ing turnovers. Hawks have been helping us out in this quarter, we need to let them. Ugh f***ing Teague is killng us again.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Good comeback but STOP SETTLING FOR LONG TWOS
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Why is Hayes on the floor? You basically guarantee a double team on your scorers when that useless brick is out there
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Why is Hayes on the floor? Because Salmons/Novak isn't. Gotta balance out the rotation!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 DeRozan getting double teamed every time with Hayes out there, nice finish by Ross and the foul!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 HUGE make there from Ross. Seriously, how many made FG do the Hawks have in this quarter? 2? Edit: accidentally quoted myself.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Because Salmons/Novak isn't. Gotta balance out the rotation! I didn't see the start of the Game, is Amir out?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I didn't see the start of the Game, is Amir out? No, he's been in the game since the beginning, great hustle too, so no injuries to speak of, Casey just giving late minutes to guys that should not be there.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Come on Val. Weak foul there.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Can't be taking those shots DeMar, spread the ball more.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Aside from the dumb foul, Valanciunas has been great today. So has Amir, great effort from our starting bigs.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Raps O is central running plays for Demar, they really need to spread it around more to keep the D honest
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Come on boys, win this f***er.
