eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 f*** Amir died! Season over! Nice while it lasted, good season guys. He's ok. Better sub in Hansborough for him. We don't have any other incredibly useful tall white guys on the bench.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 It's sad our so called "franchise center" can't even get 25 minutes when one of our top 4 bigs isn't even playing
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Chuck Hayes! Chuck f***ing Hayes! Are you kidding me!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 He's ok. Better sub in Hansborough for him. We don't have any other incredibly useful tall white guys on the bench. Don't worry that was just a tongue in cheek comment, but seriously, embarrassing how much playing time Hayes is getting this quarter.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Detroit shooting like 30% from FT.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Lol...this is just comical, he really took out Ross
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Despite all the coaching mistakes, easy win as expected.
letsgobjs Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 In terms of rebounding and defense, Valanciunas has looked really good the past two games.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 His coaching is actually good, I like the sets we have been running and the D has been excellent. It's just his sub patterns make absolutely no sense and definitely don't put the best set of players out there

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Forgot about the game tonight, damn. Glad to see a win, the next few games should be fun.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Hansborough was -19 in only 12 minutes last night. Yeah. That's not good.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Anyone else notice how hard Atlanta has dropped. They were actually one of the quality teams of the East before Hortford and Millsap went down
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Anyone else notice how hard Atlanta has dropped. They were actually one of the quality teams of the East before Hortford and Millsap went down East conference suck; Phoenix (9th West) could be #3 in that league.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 East conference suck; Phoenix (9th West) could be #3 in that league. That's pretty irrelevant to Atlanta being a quality team.

They were actually one of the quality teams of the East before Hortford and Millsap went down They were already bottoming out before Millsap went down, had lost 8 of the previous 9. Destined for the high lottery (11-13), losing Horford was massive
theblujay Verified Member Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Ross did an AMA on reddit and it was really good. -He complimented Lowry a ton. -Called out Garnett for setting illegal screens all the time. -Said he wants to face Brooklyn in the first round and more...
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Interesting article http://www.sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba/could-this-years-raps-be-the-best-ever/
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Going to the game tonight, can't wait! Another big test. Memphis is a solid team.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Interesting article http://www.sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba/could-this-years-raps-be-the-best-ever/ It's the best Raps team ever. You can't even really look at the pre-Gay trade team when you compare to other seasons. It's a completely different team. This current squad put on the floor against any of those prior Bosh/Carter teams wins 8/10 times.

Frag Verified Member Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Interesting article http://www.sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba/could-this-years-raps-be-the-best-ever/ The article's conclusion of heavily weighing anecdotal evidence over the stats doesn't make sense. If one goes by anecdotal evidence, and this Raptors teams makes it to the conference semifinals against Miami or Indiana (or, somehow, further), then this season could be the Raptors' version of the 1992-93 Leafs season for them (going from piss poor play to the conference finals in one year). I would call that historic and their best ever. Regardless, Raptors fans have every right to enjoy this season. It has been a good one for the Raps.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Wouldn't mind Antonio Davis and Charles Oakley right now Man, I loved Antonio Davis, that guy was a boss.

43211234 Verified Member Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 The Raptors need to get rid of the moronic pizza promotion. Another embarrassment by Toronto fans booing their team off the court because they don't get a slice of pizza.
