Caper Verified Member Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 8 left in the game Casey, let's get he starters back in the bloody game please Well.... Most of them anyways.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 STATEMENT win right here.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 DeRozan is not elite, but he's pretty f***ing good. He put the team on his back tonight. Incredibly impressive performance.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Rofl @ the first one. MJ was the man.
theblujay Verified Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Huge win! DD seems to get better every week. Hopefully they come out strong after the 5 day break and keep it going.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 wow, nice game by Lebron tonight. 61pts
Caper Verified Member Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 These are the last 6 games of the Raptors season. I know things can change.... But it's hard to draw up a better final six games then this. Sat 5 @ Milwaukee Wed 9 vs Philadelphia Fri 11 vs New York Sun 13 @ Detroit Mon 14 vs Milwaukee Wed 16 @ New York

Every one of those teams is going to be mailing it in by that point (only one who might be trying still is Detroit). Gotta get 5 of those 6 there
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 raps 20th anniversary logo.. http://i.cbc.ca/1.2559506.1393956476!/fileImage/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/16x9_620/raptors-logo.jpg thoughts?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Bad I would have to agree. It kind of reminds me of a super bowl logo.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 What's the record for rebounds in a game, Drummond had 26 tonight? Nevermind, Wilt Chamberlain is all over the board, 55 rebounds, lol. Players were s*** back in the day he just dominated defensively and offensively. Outside of Kevin Love getting 31 in 2010 and Dennis Rodman topping 30 a number of times with the Spurs and Pistons, it's a pretty rare accomplishment.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 DeRozan is not elite, but he's pretty f***ing good. He put the team on his back tonight. Incredibly impressive performance. He's really elevated his game this year from a def and play making point of view. He's become a top 5 SG in the league
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Great game from the Raps so far tonight.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Great effort after the huge lay off
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Great win tonight but it's really annoying to see Casey go away from JV AGAIN. He was still +9 while he was on the floor tonight. He wasn't killing them. As I say this he makes Cousins his bitch down low. Give the kid 30 minutes every night.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 JV with 15 points on 7-9 shooting in limited minutes. Man WTF. He still has work to do but he's still playing well.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 5 guys with double digits tonight. Another outstanding performance. If this keeps up this might be the best overall team in Raps history (which doesn't really say much).

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 They had some good teams when Vince was around. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Toronto_Raptors_seasons Most wins they've ever had is 47 (twice). They're now on pace for 47 (with a .567 WP%) but they'll finish higher with the weak schedule. They're winning at almost a .700 clip since the Gay trade! This team is for real.

Wow, thought they had been better than that in the early 2000s. I remember that loss to Philly in the playoffs, Vince missed the buzzer beater.
theblujay Verified Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Great game. Great D by Hayes on Cousins and its easy to see the impact Ross has.
Caper Verified Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 JV with 15 points on 7-9 shooting in limited minutes. Man WTF. He still has work to do but he's still playing well. Every 2nd or 3rd post you make about JV is of the complete opposite opinion of the previous one lol.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Another one in the W column, go raps!
theblujay Verified Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Did you guys see hat they'll be wearing the throwback purple Dino jerseys next year for a few games? It's awesome
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Every 2nd or 3rd post you make about JV is of the complete opposite opinion of the previous one lol. Not really. He's green and his ceiling isn't as high as previously thought... but he should still be getting playing time. It's absurd that he's barely even getting 20 MPG.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Once JV gets confidence in his jumper consistently, I think you will see his offensive game bloom. He's definitely green on the defensive end, improved but still
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Not really. He's green and his ceiling isn't as high as previously thought... but he should still be getting playing time. It's absurd that he's barely even getting 20 MPG. Especially in games like last night when they're up by 10+ points for practically the entire second half. That's the perfect time to get him in there and get more experience
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 The Toronto Raptors have announced that forward Patrick Patterson will be sidelined indefinitely with a right ulnar collateral sprain.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
