eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 That was honestly one of the best dunks I've ever seen. He's only 6'6" too!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 That was honestly one of the best dunks I've ever seen. He's only 6'6" too! Best one I've seen from the raptors in a long time
theblujay Verified Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Oh my what a dunk, that was insane!!! The bench reaction was crazzzzy.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 This has been a great game so far. Raps haven't won in Denver since 2003, end that streak tonight!
Chappy Community Moderator Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 17-8 in the last 25 and a good bet to win tonight, impressive.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Best one I've seen from the raptors in a long time Derozan's dunk last year was better tbh.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 So much win tonight. Ross and PP early. Lowry, DeRo and T-Nasty in the 2nd. This is a DEEP bench.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Derozan's last year was better tbh. Fareed is a beast though. Amazing
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 The effort on D has been retarded in this half. This is a good team were playing here too.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 PRO TIP: If you're intrigued by Stephane Fournier on Denver............ Do NOT google " Fournier"
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 PRO TIP: If you're intrigued by Stephane Fournier on Denver............ Do NOT google " Fournier" lol you're on realgm aren't you?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 So much win tonight. Ross and PP early. Lowry, DeRo and T-Nasty in the 2nd. This is a DEEP bench. Almost everyone getting involved, this is great!
theblujay Verified Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 lol you're on realgm aren't you? I was thinking the same thing. Is one of those where it makes you want to look to see what the big deal is.
theblujay Verified Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Hansbrough is making a big difference.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 ..okay boys. So many terrible shots now
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Great win minus the 4th, would have been different if they had Lawson, Gallinari and McGee.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 If the Raps had a truly dominant rebounder/big man (or if JV was like 3-4 years older) this team would actually have a chance to make a run in the playoffs. Their guard play has basically been flawless the last two months. Top 5 back court in the league right now probably. They're just too soft down low. I love Amir but he's best utilized coming off the bench. Patterson plays a bit smaller than he actually is (great shooter though), Hayes is old and too short to be a force on the glass... His vetrin presents can only go so far. JV is toughening up a bit but he isn't athletic enough to beat guys like Hibbert on the glass. If they had someone like an Emeka Okafor it'd make a huge difference. But do you go for it this year or do you keep the current group and re-tool in the offseason? It's tempting to go for it this year because of how weak the east is but Ujiri probably sticks it out... and that's likely the best move longterm. Regardless of what happens, this is a ton of fun to watch.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Tough game tonight, blazers didn't play last night too.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Also, Greivis Vasquez f***ing sucks. This guy might have a worse shooting touch than Ricky Rubio. Christ almighty, someone get Casey to reign this clown in. He's a decent play maker but he should never, EVER be shooting unless nothing else is going on during that possession.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Tough game tonight, blazers didn't play last night too. Let's sick T-Ross on Lillard defensively to see what happens. That'd be a great matchup. Elite vs Elite.

Agreed, even during a night when the whole team came together, Vasquez was just plain bad.

Realistically they will have to put Ross on Batum or Matthews, they have too much size for Lowry. We also need Demar to play well defensively, Blazers 1-4 are all well above average players. Im excited for this one, would be a HUGE statement game!
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Agreed, even during a night when the whole team came together, Vasquez was just plain bad. I can deal with his offensive abilities, cause he keeps everyone involved and hits an occasional 3. His D on the other hand...may be the worst perimeter defender in the entire NBA, consistently loses his guy off the ball, gets destroyed at the point of attack. Just brutal
theblujay Verified Member Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Gonna be a tough game on a back to back. Hopefully it's close and we sneak out with a win.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Vasquez's WS/48 is .019. That is absolutely terrible. If this team wants to make another incremental improvement... trade a 2nd rounder for a decent backup PG.
theblujay Verified Member Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 This could get out of hand quickly
