deadlee Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Batting average lol. Is this dude serious? Guys please tell hes trollin. He has to be trolling..unless he's Mike Wilner, in which case he will just use whatever stat helps his argument for the day
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 at a boy bats...he needed that hit
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I'm pretty sure he was at double play depth. Not that, I mean he didn't track it at all... he just stood there and waited... a reasonably good 2B would of backed up and had an easier play as the ball came down
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Sopranos one of the best shows ever, behind The wire and maybe breaking bad.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 ugh.....terrible first pitch DP. Cant hate on Ee though he has delivered.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 if you don't think batting average is important you're dumb as s***.. there is nothing to argue.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Man f*** That is so tragic
deadlee Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 What's that baseball pic from Puerto Rico about/From??
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Need MB to pitch another strong inning
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 That Dp really helped the rockies, he was at 50 pitches in 2 innings but that was a quick inning.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Sopranos one of the best shows ever, behind The wire and maybe breaking bad. I haven't watched the Wire but I heard really good things about it, so I may check it out. Game of Thrones is also Ridiculously good.

deadlee Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 "So hot his hair is on fire... or he's just a redhead I guess".. I lol'd
Cello Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Buehrle 51 pitches, 33 strikes Nicasio 60 pitches, 37 strikes
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Lol at Buck and Pat. "Kershaw hasn't been as good as usual" 1.84 ERA 2.59 FIP 3.20 xFIP BUT WAIT HE'S ONLY GOT 5 WEENS
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I haven't watched the Wire but I heard really good things about it, so I may check it out. Game of Thrones is also Ridiculously good. The wire is the next series on my to watch list.. Started GOT last week.. almost caught up lol
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 wow, no one said it wasn't important but to base your statement solely on BA is what is really stupid, sorry. I'll say that batting average isn't important. Nothing indefensible about that.
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I haven't watched the Wire but I heard really good things about it, so I may check it out. Game of Thrones is also Ridiculously good. I just finished the wire a month ago. I had tried to watch it once before but couldn't get into it It's amazing though so stick to it. One of a kind If you end up liking it.. six feet under is another that also has great character development
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 wow, no one said it wasn't important but to base your statement solely on BA is what is really stupid, sorry. well if he's 2nd on the team in average he's contributing something to the team isn't he? who do you plan on replacing Melky with genius? you don't make changes like that on a 7 game winning streak.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Stop fouling off pitches errr. so frustrating.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I haven't watched the Wire but I heard really good things about it, so I may check it out. Game of Thrones is also Ridiculously good. The wire is in a class by itself........Thrones os good to yes, but not the wire. Does take a few episodes to get into because the story is so in depth, sprawling. But it pays off, best Tv show ever
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 well if he's 2nd on the team in average he's contributing something to the team isn't he? who do you plan on replacing Melky with genius? you don't make changes like that on a 7 game winning streak. He's not contributing anything. His defense sucks and he doesn't walk so his on base % is s***. He's not hitting for any power either.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 The wire is the next series on my to watch list.. Started GOT last week.. almost caught up lol The wire will take half a season to reallt get you into it, but, you will see why that patience pays off........amazing television. More like a novel then a typical tv show.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 well if he's 2nd on the team in average he's contributing something to the team isn't he? who do you plan on replacing Melky with genius? you don't make changes like that on a 7 game winning streak. I'd put EE in LF, Lind at 1B, and use whoever has the best splits against the pitcher of the day at DH
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 He's not contributing anything. His defense sucks and he doesn't walk so his on base % is s***. He's not hitting for any power either. I disagree. He's a good hitter that opposing pitchers have to worry about and that we cannot replace. We don't have any replacements at his talent level.
