Ziggyy108 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 In this SSS has Edwin showed enogh to you to feel comfortable playing 3B full time?? Thoughts on how he has looked ....
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 no way I want to see him play 3B anymore than absolutely necessary
blackjays21 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 he's looked good in the games I have watched.. especially that diving play he made!! he has decent hands and a good enough arm to play at 3rd base. As far as him playing fulltime until lawrie gets back ,I am ok with that
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 He can't throw consistently, that's his biggest issue.
vdartanian Verified Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 No desire to see the return of E5 If it helps in a pinch then great (ie. for interleague) but long term, absolutely not.
DwightDM Verified Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I don't like him full time there, but I think he's been reasonable enough to give us a little versatility.. nice to have in interleague or when we want to keep Lind in the lineup and DH someone else.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I'd prefer no He need to be in the lineup So does Lind But someone else should play third if at all possible
Caper Verified Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 No... But if you need to dial up the offense a notch... You can play him there with your fingers crossed.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Lets try one of Lind or EE at catcher. Not like there's a whole lot to lose there.

Ever since someone posted that pitch framing article that showed JPA as one of the best framers in the game, he hasn't bothered me near as much.... Of course he's not one of the best framers in the game.... but I just assumed he was the worst... and lately since the pitching has picked up... he hasn't bothered me much either.... Hopefully the organization brings someone in to help coach JPA and make hima better catcher... and Mattola works with him to make him a more patient and consistent hitter.
