Sparky12 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Don't change anything with Cecil. Hes just an unreal weapon out of the pen. Remarkable how good he's been, wasn't the general consensus that most didn't even want him on the team out of ST?
jaysfaithful8 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 DAT SPEED? http://aineking.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/large20photos-v2_speed11.jpg Haha, I know. I was just referring to his run back to first base.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Well nobody right now. You can't send down Wagner. So they would have to make a small deal to keep Kawasaki on the major league roster. Which seems unlikely. They have a surplus of relievers, maybe AA can find a Rasmus type deal for a 2b and include Bonifacio or Izturis in it. I'd rather they keep Kawasaki and Izturis, but I don't think they'll want to lose any of the 3 for nothing so the guy that has options goes down in all likelihood.

Sparky12 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Leave Cecil in to face Martin in the 9th?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Man Lind just smashing balls all over the yard. Great approach there despite the out.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Well a few people such as myself wanted him to be a lefty specialist because of his great numbers against them. The suprise is how dominate hes been against RHB as well. He quickly became the best reliever on this team, and one of the best relievers in the American League. Is he the bait to get the 2b otf?
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 How many f***ing times has Buck talked about Beltre being a gold glover this series Buck loves him some gold gloves
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Another solid performance from Gump!
kgm1 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Yes And we were all wrong Cecil and Lind are like new players I can honestly say I thought both would have good years if used to their strengths . Spanky and I and a few others . Not this good thou . I'm going to be wrong on Izturis and Rasmus
over500 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Gump slowly creeping back to .800 OPS
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Colby is a great baserunner. If he put in the effort to learn how to time pitchers, etc. he could easily steal 25 bags
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Great job Thole! Put it on ice! I'd bring back Cecil. We're going to need the pen tomorrow.

BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 oh jose is hurt... nothing big... so I'd say nothing more than 5-20 days out This is how it's gonna work. After this game they'll say it was just precautionary, no problem. Tomorrow he won't be in the lineup, "just to give him another day." Then he'll miss the day after that. Then DL.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 No longer a save for Casey so let Cecil pitch and get the save .
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 No longer a save for Casey so let Cecil pitch and get the save . Save Delabar, etc. for tomorrow as well. Do it Gibbons.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Wang can go deep though. The way Texas is swinging it right now. Hes pretty much the ideal pitcher you want on the mound. Provided his heavy sinker is both heavy and effective. That's a pretty bold statement to say Wang has a chance at going deep tmr. He wasn't all that great the other day.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Don't care about saves just wins. Might as well leave Cecil in for the save. He's only at 12 pitches anyway, and it helps save Casey's barking shoulder or needlessly warm someone else up. I see I was beat to it. Doesn't look like it's going to happen though.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 We'll be back to 6.5 out of the WC with a win today. Can get to 5.5 tomorrow as the Rangers hold the last spot!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 So glad we didn't bother re-signing Frasor
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 The way the jays are playing right now, it's really hard to be a pessimistic douchbag Need a sweep, too bad Johnson has no Johnson
