Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 BAutista had a hanging breaking ball, on 2-0 took it. Kept looking fastball but teams are almost always going breaking ball against him yet it seems he never adjusts what gives?
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 No player hits a home run in every AB, or even every game. Bautista has a hit already today and has heated up after that cold spell. You can't expect him to hit every bad pitch he sees. Who said anything about HR retard? I am talking about him always looking fastball when he is getting breaking ball after breaking ball. It'd why he is hitting .260. Maicer giving texas outs.
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 How the f*** is that Exceptional effort? That was a f***ing easy ball to get to, just a fail by Izturis

Parson Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Buck and Pat saying its not an error cuz he made a good effort? So if a guy makes a good effort and throws the ball away its not an error? What?
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Wow what a season Kinsler was having before he got hurt. .300 avg with 7 HRs in less than a month and half. Nice throw by Thole there, almost had him. Like I said, Thole looks great catching Dickey, he should have been the guy from day one. It's refreshing to see Dickey pitch without having 3 or 4 passed balls in the game.

JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Good lord Lind is raking. Hard to think that not too long ago everyone was begging for this guy to leave town.
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 An insurance run would be purty here And purty is was.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Rasmus!!! When he hits homeruns they come in bunches.
jaysfaithful8 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 An insurance run would be purty here Or 2
Caper Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 An insurance run would be purty here I will give you two.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Rasmus!!! When he hits homeruns they come in bunches. rasmus is a streaky guy, but I think he's being more selective as well...I think his approach is really improving for real....he mentioned in an interview a week or so ago that he had talked a lot to Lind about hitting and he was just trying to be more selective in his approach...
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I know texas has had a lot of success but I feel kinda bad for their fans that they lost in the WS twice and collapsed last year to the A's.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Great job, now we just need Dickey to be decent.
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Texas is going to be in for a tough ride after us.. Oakland comes in, then they go for a WS rematch vs. the St. Louis Cardinals. Then, they have the Yankees and Reds. If the Jays are going to make a move, this is the best time to start a streak--Texas is struggling, the Yankees can't score, Rays are having pitching issues(surprisingly)--and the O's still are a head scratcher--how can they keep winning with such mediocre pitching?
