Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Is there any recent updates on either Lawrie or Reyes? Both should be close to starting their rehab games (hopefully in the same infield) within the next week. Is this still the case?
cesarb182 Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 According to twitter Lawrie still thinks he is a gangster and Reyes is always happy with his expensive suits
Errorcebia Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Lawrie will be injury prone his whole career. An injury update is futile. Just get used to him not playing regularly and stop stressing about it.
ManOnThird Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Exactly. The more pressure put on Lawrie to be a leader and to ignite the team, the more the team will be deflated when he inevitably goes down again. He can never be relied on in that way. And I fear the same may be said for Bautista and his injuries.

backontop Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 errorcebia says Lawrie will be injury prone his whole career but he forgot to mention why, remember the caveman thousands of years ago, he'd step on the fire that was keeping him warm then scream OUCH! The same with Lawrie, he hasn't learned that if you run into a steel baricade, it will injure you.

Errorcebia Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Exactly. And I fear the same may be said for Bautista and his injuries. Well the guy who is 10 years older has a bit of an excuse
backontop Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Whats with this 8 segments only BS tonight? Send or trade Lawrie to any other ignorant GM (like ours) who hasn't been paying attention to what is happening today. Lawries future is in softball in Surrery.
