JPR acquired EE and Bautista, why give AA any credit.

 

JPR was really freaking good at pitching as BTS said, if we played in the AL Central or West he'd probably still be here. Maybe keep AA to oversee his scouting army, he is good with some stuff.

 

AA got Jose Reyes, Melky Cabrera, Anthony Gose, Brett Lawrie, Colby Rasmus, he's gotten guys who should be producing offensively, just aren't at the moment for various reasons.

 

If we played in any other division, JP would have multiple playoff births. He assembled very good teams in 2006 and 2008, winning 86 and 87 games without even a top-10 payroll. Had Rogers showed him the same commitment they've shown AA he'd probably have at least one playoff birth.

I think the American League should revert back to the traditional way of playing too with the pitcher batting. It's amusing seeing the pitchers try to hit and hustle around the bases, and would force the fat asses who can't field for their life to learn to or get out.
