theblujay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I used to look forward to Dickey's starts, now they're are just disasters waiting to happen. Awful lineup with Blanco, always falling behind, bound to give up a few HRs on meatballs.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 AA should have to kiss the feet of every single blue jays fan and beg for foregiveness colossal failure
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Is it a Jays tradition to put the worst hitters available in the 4 spot (Millar, Lind when he was garbage, DeRosa)? I just don't get this
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Our line-up against lefties is just appalling.
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 First time I watched Dickey was the opening WBC game..his knuckleball didn't do anything...got hit hard.....then later we heard it was only spring training..then started season badly..were told he was getting better and better...then got shelled..but it's early and he broke a nail..then was bad but it was his back...NOW..he's feeling better...yikes,.....this is a 38 year old who has lost velocity and his ball no longer has much movement...
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Another weak hit. Yeah, we're not winning this game
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Oh look... Another baserunner...
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I guess it's whatever terms his contract call for but can't be worse.

I was excited when we got Dickey...I thought he'd be good for us, at least for a couple years, pitching as a near top of the rotation starter. But as time goes on he does seem to be settling into mediocre or worse.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Bautista is good at playing right in Turner, I remember he robbed a dinger last year
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 That would have been out in our park
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Recently I've been looking forward to Buehrle starts, which should tell you something about this team. Buehrle is now our best pitcher. Its funny because a couple weeks ago half of us wanted him gone asap.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Starting to lose faith in RA..always was hoping he'd come around.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Prime example on why Dickey doesn't play in the AL East.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Holy god, they didn't score that inning!
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 lol, everything has gone wrong, I still cannot fathom why we are putting Henry "Mexican Cartel" Blanco out there. He has no business in MLB.
Cello Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Minor 53 pitches, 37 strikes Dickey 58 pitches, 40 strikes
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I'm already looking forward to Jenkins' start in San Diego tomorrow night. He'll do well in that park vs the Padres.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I like Buehrle a lot in the abstract too, but obviously not as a top of the rotation guy. Jays should let AA be the Hitting General Manager and let someone else handle the pitching. If you combined AA's most productive offense with JPR's most productive pitching staff, I think you'd get a pretty f***ing nice team.
Shogun89 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Now it's time for our super dynamic duo, Blanco and Dickey LMAO, doing it at the plate and on the mound LMAO
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 lol Henry Blanco with a runner on, brutal.
