Tuco Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I think it is time to accept RA cy young winner is gone.................... He is chucking up batting practice balls with not a lot of movement most of the time. The trade was always going to be a risk. Is Dickey for real and bonifide number one in a different division and smaller ballpark? Looks like the answer is no. He looks like Wakefield from 2007 where he gives you a mid 4 ERA and like 1.35 whip.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Dickey hasn't looked special at all. He's looked pretty mediocre even in the better starts. To think we gave up d'Arnaud and Syndergaard for him is like slicing someone up with a box cutter and then pouring salt all over him. I'm sorry folks but Dickey in the AL is a recipe for disaster. AA is such a clown.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 This guy is literally batting practice... Beach ball city... f*** you AA and RA
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 At least we have a good BP pitcher in case any of our players want to be in the HR derby.
bowld Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Dickey is a bust. Wish we could re-do that trade..
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 his knuckler isn't moving anywhere near as much as last year It isn't, it's just floating up over the plate most of the time.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Is it just me or does RA always give up runs in the 1st and/or 2nd innings
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Worst trade in Jays history...wtf is wrong with him
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Oh well dmg could be worse....... Offense get off your asses
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 This is our Ace? Consistently behind in counts and gives up a run per inning? Fk we need better starting pitching, this won't work.
bowld Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 With this lineup it will be tough sledding when down by more than 2-3 runs
Cello Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Minor 31 pitches, 22 strikes Dickey 30 pitches, 21 strikes
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 so disappointing..being a former pitcher myself I was so looking forward to watching RA more than anything this year..quite a let down
Tuco Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I'd honestly look to trade Dickey. Hope some team bites on it just being a slow slart and not really being suited for the AL game. Sell him to some NL team before he sucks the entire year and into next season and his value plummets.

Cello Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Worst trade in Jays history...wtf is wrong with him Broken nails, back spasm, etc, etc.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Time to go watch the best TV show ever The Wire, the jays are just too frustrating.
Cello Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 AA got worked big time in that trade. JP Retardi 1 AA 0

Sell him to some NL team before he sucks the entire year and into next season and his value plummets. I'd trade Johnson, Dickey, Jose or EE, Izturis or Boni, Rasmus and a couple relievers. Get a load of prospects and just start over

He may make an ok fifth starter. But an ace lol no way
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 2 straight auto outs up coming
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Ugh Dickey has been utter trash this year.
bowld Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 why is Blanco even on this team? I just cant come to terms with it. Dickey gets killed every game but needs his own personal catcher?
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Dickey with the hardest hit ball of the day for the Jays. Lol
