Neil Wagner and Joel Carreno. Or I will f***ing rage.

 

That only clears up one 40 man spot... Evan Crawford, Sean Nolin, Todd Redmond, Rickey Romero, Michael Schwimer and Mickey Storey are the only pitchers on the 40 man that aren't on the DL or the MLB roster. I know Nolin can't be recalled, not sure about Stoey.

 

They also have 7 guys on the 60 day DL that they will eventually have to make room for on the 40 man roster... This isn't a problem I'd like to have, were I AA.

Absolutely has to be 2 pitchers, I wouldn't be surprised if there were more moves for additional pitchers made as well... The pen got used up and Rogers is starting tomorrow, they'll need arms.

Why does AA wait for these fuking scrubs to cost us games before he DFA's them??

First game of the Boston series in April, Jeffries blew it and got DFA'ed

 

2nd game of Yankees series? We picked up Laffey, then DFA'ed him after a s*** start

 

Now today we give this random junk pitcher Thad Webber an opportunity in a very important situation, he blows it and then DFA

 

Pretty sure there others like this, I just can't remember.

TOTAL PEDANT ALERT: Webber wasn't DFA'd, he was optioned to AAA. He's till on the 40 man roster, don't worry!

This move only opens up one spot on the 40 man, so at least one of the moves (agreed it has to be pitchers) has to be on the 40 man unless more is to come. That means one of the pitchers would pretty much have to be Storey, Redmond, or Schwimer (McGowan went 2 innings today, so it's unlikely he'd get the call for tomorrow). The second could be anyone, possibly including (and I'm not saying this is a good thing) Derek Lowe off waivers. It could also be Stroman?

Stroman would be a real rush job but AA is in hyper panic mode, so you never know what he's gonna do next.

There's a slim chance that AA is looking at early June when he'll have to bring some guys form the 60 day DL to the 40 man and he'll just leave that spot open and bring 2 guys from the 40 man up... I don't think McGowan is eligible to come off the DL yet (he was put on the 60 day on April 7th, but I don't know if it was retroactive and 30 seconds of googling couldn't find the answer so fudgeit!)

It should be Schwimer and Carreno, but it's going to be McGowan and Stroman.

 

Is McGowan eligible? If so, I would like it to be him...
